Lazy Bear Cottage - Very close to downtown! Newly Renovated, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath!

Cute cottage that is close to everything. Walk to town, short drive to RMNP. The cottage was very clean and well taken care of. There were plenty of instructions for everything, which provided for a very comfortable stay. On lazy mornings, it was a great place to relax with a coffee as you ease into your day. The kitchen is well stocked with all the basics. I would stay here again!

Nancy is an amazing host and made sure we had everything for our stay. She was very helpful with park information and recommending places to eat.

We booked this place because of the location and cleanliness reviews. I will say, it did not disappoint!The owner of this place is what sets it apart. She was quick to respond, very helpful, and genuinely cares about her guests. If we visit again, we will surely be booking the same location.

Everything about our stay at Lazy Bear was perfect. The communication from our hosts was the best we've experienced using VRBO for years. immediately after we made the reservation, we were sent detailed instructions, maps including pictures, option for early check in, info about the timed entry at RMNP, and keyless entry process including pictures!. When we arrived there were snacks for our hikes and hand written notes and article about bear safety, RMNP hike maps, local newspaper(interesting!) and a map of downtown Estes Park. We have had several VRBO stays, where the hosts provided one roll of toilet paper and a quarter roll of paper towels for a three day stay. Lazy Bear had an abundance of TP, PT, and even paper plates and baggies. The location was perfect and easy to find. All the utensils, large bowls for salad, plates, cutting boards, towels and more were provided. The bathroom was clean, neat, abundantly supplied with hand soap, night lig and makeup remover toweletts! The fireplace was so easy to operate, and hosts even provided throws that i used to snuggle up with on the super comfy couch and read on chilly mornings before our hikes. Indoor lighting and natural lighting was superior. Everything was in perfect working order, easy to operate and clean (sliding glass door, thermostat...). The bed was very comfortable and warm, and there were reading lamps and end tables on both sides of the bed! The way our hosts used this space was incredibly efficient!

What a cozy spot! Perfect base for visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. The cottage has everything you need and little extras & snacks to feel more homey. Would definitely stay here again. Hosts are great too - wonderful communications & easy to reach with questions

Check in was very efficient and straightforward. The house was very clean and well supplied. The location was very convenient to RMNP and Estes Park.

This property was everything we like in a rental! It was clean, nicely decorated, very well supplied with everything and more of what you needed and walkable to places of interest(uphill walk back to cottage, but that was okay with us). The owner was extremely considerate and easy to work with. Offered us early check-in and late check-out, because the schedule allowed it. We would certainly stay there again.

Nancy was very nice and worked with us with some issue. The place was great. We sat on the porch in the back every day even when it rained. I would stay at the lazy bear again. I highly recommend this little gem. Thanks Nancy for a wonderful stay at your place.

It was located just outside of town, which made it quiet enough to enjoy peacefully evenings but also accessible to everything you want to do in Estes Park!

My wife and I just stayed and the property was great. It had all the amenities. The main road can get a little loud with the windows open. But it was close to everything! The hope was nicely appointed and had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Wonderful stay start to finish! The cottage was pristine and had all of the basic necessities. Hosts were very responsive and provided lots of good info prior to our arrival. Grateful for the Cinnamon’a recommendation — yum! We may have missed out on RMNP without her. We would definitely stay again! Even woke up to walk across the street one morning.

This was our second stay at this cozy cottage & everything was perfect again. The entire house is clean & organized. Nancy & Ken have prepared everything you need. Quiet neighborhood, super convenient to RMNP & downtown Estes Park. Great property & great hosts!

The cabin was excellent. Very clean and well kept. The little amenities provided a nice touch. The owners offered early check-in and late checkout, which was greatly appreciated. The cabin was close to all of our favorite spots at Estes Park. It was like a little home away from home. We would highly recommend. And we will be back next time we’re in Estes.

This property is perfect. My husband and I were comfortable and cozy, the cabin was spotless and beautiful. We will return. Thank you for providing such a wonderful hideaway for us to tuck in and relax. We needed the respite.

Came into Estes to see Elk . We were not disappointed. Cabin was so beautiful and bed was extremely comfy. The host had snacks and coffee and all we needed to make this stay memorable.loved everything about the area . Very friendly people.
