Large Deck: Luxe 6-Acre Retreat in Dahlonega!

This is a unique, gorgeous, well kept and wholesome property. Beautiful surroundings. We recommend it and would stay in it again. You do need a car for transportation. Everything is 15-20 minutes from the house.

We had a wonderful stay here! We came to Dahlonega for the first time to explore the area and this home was in the perfect location. The driveway is almost immediately past the entrance to Montaluce and the drive to get downtown was 12 min. The property was super cute and cozy and had everything we needed. Very peaceful and restful trip!

Great spot to stay for wedding at Monteluce!

Nice and spacious cabin very convenient to Monteluce Winery. Beautiful property with several outdoor spaces to enjoy. Only suggestion for owners would be have more towels for guests.

We were in town for a wedding at Montaluce Winery, which was only about a mile away. The property was well-appointed, clean, and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Adorable cabin in the mountains with privacy woods surrounding the property. Very close to Montaluce Winery where my family was attending a family member’s wedding. Spacious master bathroom and a wonderful kitchen. Enjoyed staying with my family over the holiday weekend!

Very comfortable with beautiful marble showers and lovely tub! Grandson loved his loft and girls loved the decks and outside! Chess players loved the set! Wonderful kitchen stocked with all equipment! I loved the antique decor! Found the little Jesus! Thank you we loved it! Magnolias were blooming and smelled great!

Was not as advertised. The queen room had a Murphy bed, no closet and the bath was a step up and across a dining room. King bedroom bed was so soft that one would sink up in it and then found it very difficult to turn over. Otherwise, the master bath was excellent as well as the kitchen and den. However, without a proper king bed and a totally inadequate queen bedroom this property is not represented correctly

Grounds are beautiful: gently rolling grass lawn w magnolia trees, mood lighting in the evening, complete privacy, & a deluxe home inside w wonderful soaking tub. Spacious decks, new gas grill & bright w natural light.

A beautiful place to stay if you’re going to be in the dahlonega area! We had a small wedding in the area and had a small get together at this location and it was perfect! Kathy is a great host! She checked in on us and made sure our stay was great.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The house is wonderful and the property itself is beautiful! The weather allowed us to enjoy the wonderful porch space! We would highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the area!

Nine days here just flew by and we would have enjoyed staying longer. As it was, we attended a beautiful Juliette Chapel wedding, celebrated Christmas with family, and made shopping, sightseeing, and hiking side trips. The Christmas lights, tree and hundreds of other special decorations filled the granddaughters with delight. The superlatively well equipped kitchen was a cook’s dream. Thank you for a visit to remember!

Our stay was amazing at your home! It made our trip feel like we were right at home during the holidays and you thought of all the essentials. We came to make arrangements for our daughter’s upcoming wedding in March and can’t wait to come back.

This property has everything! The kitchen rivals a culinary institute with every kitchen tool needed. The house is lovely, roomy and user friendly . We had a fabulous time meeting new family members brought together through marriage. The location was perfect for the nuptials at Montaluce Vineyard. The hostess Katy was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to friends and return again. Thanks!

Beautiful accommodations!

We were absolutely amazed when we arrived at Katy J's. This home is beautiful and on a beautiful piece of property. There is everything you could possibly need for your vacation or celebration, from the dishes and wine glasses, to the pots, pans and baking dishes, all the linens, pillows, blankets and sheets and even racks of spices! The kitchen is a chef's dream with gas stove, two ovens and a large fridge. The owner's suite is stunning, with the most comfortable bed, an extra-large attached bathroom including a massive shower, large soaking tub and more closet space than you could ever need. One of the things we loved most about this cabin is all the large windows in each room, bringing the outdoors in. The porches in both front and back of the house are large with lots of conversation areas. We enjoyed having our coffee on the front porch in the morning and watching the variety of birds, including cardinals, mockingbirds and hummingbirds. Our interactions with Katherine, the owner, were amazing. She is an outstanding host, very informative, and a genuinely nice person. We could not have dreamed of a more wonderful experience and I cannot wait to go back.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We celebrated friends bachelorette trip and it was the perfect place for it! The pictures really don’t do this property justice. We were overwhelmed with our open, bright, and cozy it was. Katy was an amazing host, who we actually met, and was so sweet. I look forward to hopefully returning with my husband and friends one day! Highly recommend!

Many conversation areas. Many extra supplies, toileries etc. It was near 100 degrees outside so we did not get much outside time on the lovely sitting areas. There are four or five very nice places. The kitchen is beautiful and has coffee supplies. It is hard to say enough to do it justice. The owner responds very quickly if you have any questions.

The highlights of this property are the kitchen and the wrap around porch. It was just my husband and I but I can see this being a wonderful place for a larger family or two couples to share.
