Lakeview Cabin in the Mountains

The house is really beautifully decorated and was very clean. We were very comfortable and would stay again.

The open floor plan was awesome for the family. Great winter cabin with the woodnstove, perfect for warming up after a day of snowmobiling. Great location with a nice view of the pond. Bob was very responsive as well.

Loved our stay! Wonderful cabin in a great location and very quiet. Fully equipped with everything you'll need. Owner is very responsive to any questions or concerns. Would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was very cozy and perfect for our family and Hal the Aussie. The host was very pleasant and communicative and getting into the cabin was simple. The lake is a beautiful setting and worth an early morning glimpse of the mist.

Great stay all around! To be there felt like we were home. From the invitation to use everything freely to the sunshiny open space, it was perfect. Bob made it easy to communicate, though we didn’t have much need. It was a wonderful week!The location is lovely - away from the bustle but close enough when we wanted a restaurant or a stroll along Bennington’s streets.Go - you’ll be glad you did!

Everything you need for a relaxing vacation, owners were prompt with information and very helpful from the very start. Location was amazing and the house was as promised, beautiful with everything required provided.

The house is spacious and lovely with a terrific deck overlooking the lake, (partial view). There's a great little general store minutes away, and Bennington with shops and restaurants is 15 minutes.I would suggest a few portable fans in the bedrooms for when it gets stuffy.

I spent a quiet relaxing weekend with my brother and father at this awesome cabin. Quaint and charming, with plenty of space and amenities, we barely cared that our hiking plans got rained out as we spent the day relaxing in the cabin, playing cards and listening to the rain fall.

We had a family party in VT on the weekend. The home was perfect for what we needed. Stocked well with towels and sheets. Plenty of room.

Loved our time in Bennington. Cross country skiing area 5 minutes away. The cabin was easy to find and get in. The property owner was great. We didn't have any issues, but he checked in with us to make sure all was good. The place was warm and cozy. The beds were comfortable. The tub with a shower is adorable but a bit tricky if have you any balance issues. The kitchen has all you need to make meals. Lots of stores close by. Would love to come back in the summer.

We had a lovely weekend at this sweet and cozy cabin. We had everything we needed to prepare family meals and every nook and cranny was clean and tidy! The furniture was comfortable. The view of the pond was restful and we enjoyed walking the dogs all around in the crisp, cool air! An easy drive to Bennington to visit my son at college. We look forward to coming back during ski season.

Kitchen is up-to-date with all the amenities. Cabin is clean, with nice furniture and comfy beds. Very quiet neighborhood. Minutes from downtown Bennington. Host was very friendly and accomodating.

The cabin was clean, spacious, quaint and comfortable. We liked the privacy and quietness of the neighborhood. Location was great for day trips to other towns. We enjoyed the fall colors driving on Route 9, visiting the state park and Grout Pond. Thought there would be more of a lake view from the cabin but there are other homes blocking the view. Robert was easy to communicate with. Thank you for sharing your home!

Beautiful except for the shower not elderly friendly

Lovely, well equipped cabin with plenty of open space, plenty of room for 6-8 people and a huge deck with pond views..Bob was terrific communicating and was super easy to deal with.
