Lakefront-Private Cozy Cottage with Beautiful Views Directly on Lake Lure!

The Lake was drained most things around the lake were closed but would so love to come back and sit on that deck when it’s all open again

Beautiful place on Lake Lure. Chimney Rock Park is only a couple miles away. A lot of things to do in this area. I highly recommend this property. Very well kept, clean and has everything you need for a vacation get-way!!

Even though the lake is drained right now, the view from the cabin was beautiful. We felt very comfortable and cozy.

The cabin was exceptionally clean with a very well-stocked kitchen. Very comfortable bed with absolute beautiful views from every room. Very quiet neighborhood. We will continue to pray for everyone’s recovery from Helene.

The house was exceptionally cute and private perfect for a recharge with my spouse. Stunning views and private dock. A lot of care in this property, well maintained. The owner was the nicest person and it felt very personal. Loved the entire experience. We plan on coming back when the lake re-opens. Love supporting the Lake Lure/ Chimney Rock area since it was always a special place with amazing residents!! Highly recommend!!

Keepers Cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It is tucked away in a quiet cove with an amazing view of the mountains. It is super clean, beautifully updated and Judy went above and beyond stocking everything you need. We really enjoyed the convenient location to Chimney Rock State Park, Chimney Rock Village and Lake Lure. There is also a fantastic grocery store and a fun challenging escape room all within a few minutes of the cottage.From Chimney Rock we were able to see the forever changed landscape of the lake and river below. We were able to walk a beautiful trail to the base of magnificent 400' Hickory Nut Falls and later eat at our favorite restaurant in Chimney Rock Village by the river. One day we ate in Lake Lure overlooking the continuous hard work recovering from the Helene destruction.It was the perfect place to celebrate our 46th anniversaryspending time together, enjoying God's creations and being inspired by the perseverance and resilience in the healing of this special place and it's people. We absolutely are looking forward to coming back in the future.Rhonda and Charlie

Beautiful lake view- amazing hostess. Loved the quaintness and it had all I needed. While not yet at full pond, lake was beautiful.

Property was nice. Not new but very clean and met our needs. The view was spectacular! We also made a cat friend.

This cottage was great. Very relaxing. I really liked the view at sunrise from the deck. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook and there was some great restaurants around when we didn't want to cook. I will definitely be planning a trip back next year.

We had a great stay at Keepers Cottage. The views are breathtaking and the cottage very comfy. Judy is very friendly and welcoming. We really needed a refreshing time away. While the lake isn't open yet we still enjoyed the back porch throughout most of our Saturday. We will definitely return.

Decided to stay at Lake Lure because it is close to The Biltmore Estate and absolutely loved the area. The house was clean and comfortable. Every room gave toward the lake so you get that beautiful mountain lake view. Owner was friendly and very helpful throughout the renting and stay. Plan on coming back to the lake and will definitely look to rent this home again.

This is our 3rd time staying here and we love it! Perfect size for the two of us and you can’t beat the view. We spent time in the kayaks and from some floats from home to float around the dock area.

First visit here. We stayed at a cottage directly across the lake for 15yrs but my wifes arthritis in her knees is getting worse and she cant do steep steps to the water. This cottage has easy acces to house and water! Very clean too! Propeety manager and owner tried to help us with our can that wouldnt start too. Very nice! I believe this will be our new place. We will be back!!!

This was our 4th time staying at Keepers Cottage. That says it all! We love it!! This time we rented a boat for the day and it was such a fun time exploring all the coves. Our favorite thing is sitting on the porch and looking at the gorgeous view! We will be back!!
