Lakefront Forest Getaway

The host interaction was amazing they did a great job messaging us to make sure we had everything we needed or if anything came up that we would have needed. Unfortunately the bed situation wasn't the most comfortable, very springy. And it didn't seem like anyone had cleaned it in a long time, in terms of dusting and finding dead insects in multiple places including the bedroom.The bathroom and kitchen were very clean! But some of the detail cleaning was just not there. Now I understand it's a cabin in the woods so maybe it's not going to be the most perfect clean place in the world, but it should have a little better level of cleaning if people are staying there. Especially since I'm allergic to heavy dust areas. The shower pressure could've been better as well

Always welcoming, super clean and comfortable. I happen to enjoy sending time in the Ocala forest. So much wildlife.

Absolutely loved this lake house. Had everything you need to feel cozy at home. Great amenities and nice view of lake as well. We had a wonderful weekend here!

It was a great experience without a doubt I will do it again since it was a pleasure to be on a quit place without interruption of city life and the owner of the property was very nice and friendly and let us check in early thanks again have a wonderful day

Quiet relaxing weekend away.

Great spot to get away from noise and relax.

It was a wonderful stay. Between the wild life, and the location. My family and I looking forward to booking the place again, very soon. The host of this property is very good. They truly want you to be happy. I just can NOT say enough good things about this place. This was our first time booking with them too.

Very peaceful and relaxing. My husband is 6'5 so it was a bit of a challenge, but overall, i would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and easy access to the lake. It was a treat to see some wildlife—two bears even walked through one evening, and we got to watch them safely from the large windows. Overall, it was a great stay. One note: the stairs to the upstairs area are very steep—almost vertical—so anyone with mobility concerns should keep that in mind.

The cabin was clean and comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do in the area. Communication with the host was great. Would stay here again.

This was my dream retirement experience . Nice cabin on the water where my son and I can drive our 4 wheelers from the cabin to the trails. Jessica and Dave are fantastic hosts. They were a quick message away to helping with all our needs. Can’t wait to go back for another trip.

Had a wonderful weekend at this fully stocked rustic little cabin. Kids loved catching minnows off the dock, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and feeding the cranes who brought their 2 little babies. Great place to unplug for peace and quiet.

Great location for what we wanted. Very peaceful and quiet. If you are an older couple and get up to go to the bathroom at night, you cannot stay upstairs. Stairs are very dangerous. Need to do something different. Thank goodness weh had a friend that lived clode because my husband had to stay with him.

This little place is so cute and cozy, right on the water with a fire pit made for relaxing and enjoyable nights. The place was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our 4 night stay. We as a family definitely recommend this place.

Very cozy place in the Ocala National Forest. Great location near everything, forest ,water , you name it. Quiet enough but much more quiet at night. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Cabin is adorable. Took long walks. Sandhills cranes visited us a lot. We feed them with the food that was provided by the owners. Watched a lot of movies. Very quiet and peaceful.

Just looking for a weekend away from it all. This was a great find, relaxing and quiet. Enjoyed the stay, everything was clean and working.

The kids LOVED the loft upstairs! We enjoyed having an almost panoramic view with all the large windows in the living room, and the cranes coming to visit each day. Very close to Salt Springs Rec. Area, and all the OHV trails for ATV riding. The Pizza place in town is great also!

Cute and clean cabin in the forest. We saw a bear our first night there just strolling by the lake!
