Lakefront Cave with Waterfalls,Firepits, and Outside Showers

The cave cabin was great! This is one of the most unique places to visit and to be able to stay for a few nights. The bed was comfy, the cave was fun and the waterfalls were wonderful! A great way to relax and enjoy nature! The only negative I have is that there are a lot of stairs to navigate, but that’s kinda to be expected when you’re staying in a cave! I would highly recommend going to the grocery store before you get there and plan on staying at the cabin to cook your own meals. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need, charging fans to take around with you outside, multiple fire pits, plenty of pots and pans, tons of seating space outside and a cozy cabin with great air conditioning when needed. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves nature.

The property was all it claimed to be and more. We enjoyed the peace, had visits from deer, herons and turtles, were serenaded by frogs. The beds, sheets and pillows were heavenly. All appliances were upscale. The lake was beautiful. Waterfalls were a short walk from the cabin. Overall it couldn't have been better.

We had the absolute best time here!! - Cozy and fluffy bed- Cloud like pillows! - Firewood and starters provided! Wait.. what?!?- Dual head shower with relaxing lighting feature- I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more “equipped” vacay rental. I’m pretty sure if I’d asked for a purple polka dotted tea towel, this amazing place would have had one in a nook somewhere… And all this guys before I can even start on THE CAVE AND THE VIEWS AND THE WATERFALL!!! The host was also super responsive… witty and very gracious! Don’t wait! Book it! You won’t regret it!! Super unique and fun experience! Bring your friends!!

What a wonderful and unique experience! I was looking for something special on Smith Lake for me and my adult kiddo's and the cave was that and more. Check-in was a breeze and the cabin was so cozy with everything we could possibly need. The cave and outdoor areas were just magical. Oh, and the outdoor shower!!! There are so many great things to share about this special place that I could go on for days. We have travelled to so many wonderful places, so I was delighted upon departure when my son told me that this was one of his favorite vacations.

What a beautiful, and unique Cabin, Cave, and property. The perfect choice for our anniversary weekend. The Cave Crew had such a sweet surprise waiting for us - red candles in the shape of a heart with candy and a card. Super nice welcome! The Cabin is so cozy and comfortable and the property is just beautiful. The Cave is pretty amazing, and there are 2 waterfalls near the Cabin. We loved our stay and did not want to leave! Thank you to the Host, Cave Boss and Cave Crew for making this such an awesome place to visit. We definitely recommend The Cave at Smith Lake!

We LOVED our stay at the cave house. The owner made sure every detail was covered. Grilling outside under the cave, fishing off the dock, kayaking, watching the projector outside under the fire, the experience was wonderful. Not to mention, the popcorn machine and all the amenities and comfort of home. No sooner had we departed than my son asked when we were coming back, we truly enjoyed the privacy and setting of this place. Thank you so much for hosting hopefully we can retune soon!!

Fun was had by all! Quiet family time, football, cornhole, and s’mores. We will definitely be back.

If you are looking for a unique, quiet escape this is your place. The cave is magical and very private, allowing you and your loved one or friends the opportunity to enjoy the views. The waterfall on the property is gorgeous. Take advantage of the kayaks and all the other amenities that are available at the cabin. They have all cooking utensils you will need, and you will not want to leave! The view outside the cave overlooking the lake is spectacular. You won't regret it!!

It was a relaxing weekend in a unique setting. We loved the fire pit in the cave each evening & coffee in the morning overlooking the lake. The lake pool was a little low to swim in front of the house this time of year, but we were able to paddle out to the main lake in the kayaks provided.
