Lakefront Cabin - Elevated Design and Breathtaking Views

We had an amazing stay! Wonderful communication and directions, very clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and the views were absolutely stunning.

What a unique opportunity. We felt like we were in a really remote area. There was only one vacant small cabin near us. It was private but close enough to local food and restaurants to drive to dinner. The cabin was extremely well appointed. The morning of departure i found the eclectic music collection on site and enjoyed listening to Beethoven with my morning coffee and later a little Eric Clapton. What a great trip! We were able to grill steaks there and in more inclimate weather would have loved to kayak.

Yes so clean and impressively put together kitchen, had everything we needed and more. Even had some spices, coffee, and groceries to add to our cooking. It was so wonderful. So clean and the cabin was huge. We were able to go out on the water and the dock was wonderful. The host was incredible with communication too. We are definitely coming back!

Noce place in a beautiful location

Kay and Joseph have done a class act job in sharing their beautiful lake-front cabin with weary travelers. The location was peaceful and secluded. We arrived late at night but found the directions and instructions detailed and clear. They responded promptly to my message and kindly offered to leave out certain items they thought we might need because they knew we were traveling with small children. When we arrived, we found a personal note from them welcoming us to their home and a detailed check in guide with a well-written history of their property. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the toys they had left out to play with. The beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. The bathrooms were immaculate with fresh soap, shampoo, and towels. The architecture and design featured clean lines with beautiful natural wood and big open windows everywhere. We arrived in the darkness so we couldn't fully appreciate the breath-taking views of the surrounding woods and lake until morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this was one of the highlights of our Thanksgiving trip. Thank you, Kay and Joseph, for all the thought and kind intention you put into sharing your beautiful, cozy home with us. You have exceeded our expectations in every way. Beautiful property! We really loved the view here. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The drive to The University of Alabama was not too far and no traffic for game day. The host was very responsive to all questions during our stay and answered right away. I loved that they reached out for feedback and were willing to help when we had questions.
