Lake Lure- Bluebird Cabin-Exceptional! Private Lake with Beach access. Fenced

The house is as described, but does not sleep 6 or 8 adults. An air mattress was there but no pump. Two queen beds and a out dated futon. No TV in living room only small tvs in bedrooms and on the second floor sitting area. Very unusual since most socializing is in the kitchen area. The outside is a view of the forest which would be nice to sit on the porch if a screen was around so no bugs can bite you. We rented this based on the pet policy, but many other homes in this price range are around with hot tubs and more modern inside for the same price.

Cabin is clean, comfortable and well stocked. Host is responsive and accommodating.Cabin is just lovely! Thank you for sharing with us.

This was a great house! We love the fenced in yard for our dog to play and we love quiet and peaceful neighborhood . The house was wonderful that we would definitely go back.

Everything was great

Very nice location in a gated community. The cabin was well stocked with many things we needed including sticks for roasting marshmallows. Our dog loved the fenced in area with turf grass as well . Great views , and the house was very cozy and private. The wrap around porch was my favorite part !

We loved this cabin! It was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Great location with expansive views. Excellent area for Logan (our Golden) to run around and explore. The beach area was quite nice as well. We will definitely stay again in the near future. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful neighborhood and home! We enjoyed the beach area with our children. It was very peaceful and quiet. The home was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Communication with owners was great and location was convenient! Highly recommend.

I would not choose this place again. Cleaners showed up an hour after check in, then left a bunch of garbage outside for animals to get into. Instructions were clear as mud. Didnt know we had gate passes till the last day. They tell you to call these numbers after 6 to get past the gate. Nobody answers. The house itself is ok...no view of anything except trees. All of the doors are noisy. Front screen door slams if you arent careful, and the toilet seat is loose, possibly broken. The drive up to the house is super sketchy, and the house is very far away from water.Nobody answers the phone. Simp

This property is great! The location feels remote, but you are less than 10 minutes to grocery store and restaurants. The 2 lakes in Riverbend are beautiful. The house is fully stocke with very comfortable beds. The place is very, very clean. Awesome stay!!

I took my family to this property on lake lure for a mini vacation. We visited Skytop apple orchard and had a blast. Will definitely return to this place.

Beautiful cabin! Very nicely done and clean. Hosts were super responsive, it’s a bit on the smaller side for a family but perfect for a couple. We saw a black bear from the back porch! We loved it :)

The cabin was ok. Were I to go back, I'd book a cabin right on the lake, but not from the same owner. I booked the cabin for 6 nights in April. Soon after booking, I messaged the owner asking if I could book an additional night on the front end. The night was open when I looked online. She said I could and sent me the link to pay for it, which I did. Two days before our trip, I got confirmation showing only the 6 nights. When I messaged the owner, she apologized and said that night had already been booked and she would refund me for the night. There was no offer of anything else even though I had to scramble to find another place for one night while having a dog and kids. When I pushed back, she offered me a free night at the end of my trip (which was interesting because when I looked online, that night was already booked). We could not stay the extra night because of work obligations. I found a place near Chimney Rock (the Sunflower Cottage) for one night. When I asked the cabin owner if she'd be willing to refund me back the $125 difference in price for the night or discount my stay for my inconvenience, she told me no. If I were an owner, I would not have hesitated to do that. It was an inconvenience to have to stay in one spot, leave at 10, and then have to wait until 4 (when I asked for an early check-in, she again said no). She could not have cared less about her mistake and her guests. I will not be staying at any of her cabins again in the future.

My new bride and I stayed here for a few days right after getting married. Very pleased with the amenities and privacy of this neighborhood. The cabin space and yard was perfect for our needs. We did not get to meet the owners, but it is obvious that they take pride in the upkeep of their vacation rental. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends! :)

Great location inside a private neighborhood, residents are so nice - always waving to each other when on the roads and on the trails. Host communicated great and the trip was made better because we were able to bring our dog with us - loved everything about the location!
