Lake Lanier Getaway in North GA Mountains - Make Memories This Spring & Summer

Owner was wonderfully responsive and had thought of all the little things. Kids loved the time on the lake and available water toys!

This house had a beautiful view of the lake from the large back deck & lower screened in porch. Neighborhood was nice. The host was very quick & kind to answer any inquiries & was accommodating. There were niceties in the bathroom, if you forgot something, which was a nice touch. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, cookware, etc. Nice older home, still in process of some updates, but that did not affect our stay.A bit steep walk to get to dock, but doable.

We had a great stay and Wendy was great to work with. The house was well stocked and we had a great Thanksgiving weekend with our family.

Beautiful, spacious and clean and right on the lake! Just under an hour to the spectacular Atlanta aquarium and downtown. The 4 of us had an awesome time! The house was nicely decorated and the host is superb – so many special touches throughout the home and communication is terrific. Highly recommend it!

Great place on Lake Lanier. We had a a wedding to attend and it provided a great place to relax with family and our dog. Wendy was great to work with.

Very spacious, clean and comfortable stay. The pics do not do justice even better in person. Our host was very accommodating for a last minute trip and very helpful with places to see, eat etc in the area, and any other questions we had. We loved the view, seeing hummingbirds right outside the window, fishing, etc. The neighborhood was peaceful, safe and less than an hour from Atlanta where we were going for the aquarium. An absolute gem and I highly recommend it!

We stayed at Wendy’s property for a girls weekend and it was perfection! The property has literally everything you need. Just bring yourself, your bathing suit, and you will be super satisfied!

Our stay here was fantastic. Check-in was super easy. The house was clean and had everything we needed for the week. Plenty of towels, dishes, cookware, even shampoo and conditioner were provided. The dock had floats, kayaks and paddleboards for a nice day on the lake. We would definitely come back again.

We had 2 adults, 2 teens, two dogs, for 6 nights. From the first communication to our final day, we had a great time messaging with the host. They responded promptly to questions and welcomed us warmly. We were greeted by little surprises for guests that made my kids, dogs and coffee lovers in my family very excited! The owner helpfully placed laminated notes of tips to help us feel right at home. There is a cool map of the Lake on the wall pointing out your exact location and landmarks. The kitchen has plenty of utensils and cookware; there was an abundance of towels, full-size toiletries in the showers, and doggie waste bags for our use. At the dock, we enjoyed paddle boards, kayaks, and life jackets for people of all ages. It’s far from the crowds and tourists so it was calm for floating without worrying about a lot of motorized craft. Two notes: 1) you may want to bring toilet paper & paper towels -we were not able to find extra after using what was there; also no laundry detergent so if you plan to use the washing machine, bring a travel size. 2) As others have noted, the trip to the dock and back is long and steep; Don’t count on running up and down to grab supplies you forgot! The location is excellent-feels rural and away from traffic, but is also within a short drive to shopping, gas, and restaurants. Overall, we had a fantastic time!

Overall we did have a wonderful time. There were somethings that could have been better. The outside chairs were not in good condition and could not be used. They were broken and dangerous. We ended up having to carry chairs from the deck down to use the fire pit while we were there and return them back to their rightful place when we were done so we could enjoy it. The stairs leading down to the lake are in need of repair. There are many loose steps and you have to be very careful with your footing. The trip down to the lake is definitely not for everyone. Our parents came with us and were not able to make the trip to the lake.

This stay was amazing! Host is super friendly and responds quickly! The location was super cute and had everything we needed for our staycation. Plenty of beds!! The lake was super cool to be able to experience and we were able to use the kayaks and paddle board. The dock was a nice place to relax and enjoy the view. The location is nice and sorta isolated but not super isolated that we couldn’t enjoy going into town for dinner and heading to the local stores for items- super close too that it is not a hassle if you need any items from Kroger or Walmart. Definitely cozy, relaxing, and fun place to stay! Looking forward to coming back for sure.

The house had everything we needed and more to enjoy our time and any activities we planned. House was cleaned and organized. Well stocked for grilling and cooking. Games for kids and adults. Could have stayed much longer.

We had an amazing time. The house was clean and spacious and the neighborhood was beautiful. I loved that it was so close to the supermarket. There was plenty to do at the house for the five kids. Lots of fishing and kayaking. The dogs loved the long walks. Mrs. Wendy was very kind and accommodating when we had to switch our travel plans right before. She was one of the sweetest hosts we’ve encountered. I would love to come back with just me and hubby one time to relax a little more but we enjoyed ourselves with the kids. I highly recommend this rental!

Our family needed a relaxing place to stay while attending a funeral nearby. The kids wanted to stay forever and are asking to return another time for better circumstances.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lake House. The home is very cozy, warm, welcoming, clean, very well stocked. The peacefulness and quietness of the neighborhood is just phenomenal, you hear the birds and the wind trough the trees. The view is phenomenal!! The owner is very attentive, she is reachable and very sweet. The special little touches around the home makes you feel at home, away from home-coffee, sugar, teas, spices, aromatherapy (doTerra oil diffuser). We had such an amazing time that we extended our stay..:)) Highly recommend!!

We loved our time here and enjoyed exploring the area around Lake Lanier. The house was honestly larger than expected and has wonderful views. We will have to come back in the summer time to take more advantage of the water activities.

My family and I loved the place. It was clean and fun. We wished we could have stayed longer. My husband loved fishing and there was a shopping center near there so I did my shopping while my husband fished. Perfect spot for our family.

The house is spacious and well-maintained. We had everything we needed to start our family vacation. There were lots of water toys to keep us entertained and plenty of space at the dock for our 2 jet skis. Wendy is a fantastic host and always answered our questions right away. The house is on a steep hill, so the trek to the lake was too much for my father in law, but everyone else really enjoyed it.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house! It's a super quiet location but close to shopping and restaurants. Communication was excellent with the owner. Couldn't ask for anything better!

It was a great place to spend four days with our 7 yr old grandson, swimming, fishing, & canoeing. Great location! Comfortable beds! Clean! The house is well stocked with everything you need! Wendy, thank you for sharing your charming cabin on Lake Lanier.
