Lake Front Home, Minutes To Bike Or Snowmobile Trails & Boat Landing

We rented this cabin for our annual mom/kids cabin week. Location was easy to find. Plenty of parking space, plenty of property space in general. Cabin was clean, boat house was clean. We did not use the boat house it was a little to warm out. Lake was crystal clear and shallow the kids were able to swim way out. We rented the pontoon for a day, which is always a . Cabin was spacious and comfy for all of us. It was well stocked. 4th bedroom in the house is the guest room with pull-out blow up mattress, we were a little confused by this and how the listing reads but it was comfy and worked. We would for sure rent again.

Very nice, well-stocked with supplies needed, plenty of comfy chairs inside and great sitting areas outside on dock and by firepit. Also, It’s the first time our group of 8 all had beds! Wish we had known we needed to wash bedding before check-out, but it helped that there were 2 sets of washers and dryers.

Wonderful location for access to mountain biking trails. Great lakeshore and docks for fishing and swimming. House was adequately stocked and roomy enough to meet our needs.

We treated our son to a lakeside experience here as a high school graduation gift. He brought a friend and they had the time of their lives - they caught a bunch of rock bass and even one smallmouth right off the dock. We had a bonfire every night (with s'mores, duh). The boat was a wonderful way to explore the lake, especially as the sun set on every fun day. It's located close to town (we picked up pizza from Rafferty's one night, and had smoothies at Red Raven) - plus golf courses and Crosby's legendary mountain bike trails. You need to drive or ride a bike to these - a little too far to walk. The home was perfect - it afforded gorgeous lake views. A perfect way to enjoy that morning cup of Joe. Plenty of space and a wonderful kitchen to make meals -- or the grill, if that's your appetite. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful, too. We hope to stay here again!

Wish we had more time to stay there. Maybe this summer!

Beautiful lakefront home in a classic north woods setting gave our family a place to come together away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed the home, playing hockey on the lake and its proximity to wonderful nearby towns. We would recommend the property and hosts and hope to be back again!

This lake home comfortably slept the 7 of us and included many amenities including a dishwasher and 2 washers and dryers (particluarly appreciated the iphone charger). The highlight of our stay was boating and swimming on the pristine lake. We were in the area for a wedding so would like to return when our time isn't so limited to fully enjoy this property. Of note the stairs to the upper bedrooms are steep and spiral a bit and may be difficult for the very young or very old. couplevofchoursc

We had an awesome weekend at Matt's place on Serpent lake. I've stayed in many rentals, and comparatively this was extremely well stocked with plenty of supplies in the kitchen, garage, boat house, you name it. There was even leftover food and drinks (unopened of course), plenty of seasonings and all of the small incidentals that you seem to forget to pack. We were there for an extended weekend with my family, two nephews (children), and there was plenty of space. My wife and I stayed in the boathouse which was perfect for us to have some privacy and not feel like we were all on-top of each other. The only bonus would've been if there was a bathroom, but it was still great! We were able to rent the pontoon and had an awesome time on the lake. The boathouse was also stocked with plenty of extra floaties, fishing poles, tubes, etc. We had a great time in both Deerwood and Crosby. Everything is only a 5 minute drive and you can also dock the boat in town and walk around. We would highly recommend and will likely be going back! Also, Matt was extremely communicative and responsive. Great host!

Highly recommend for the great location and ample room. It’s a good base camp for exploring Crosby and the surrounding area.
