This home is a dream come true, from the peaceful setting to the thoughtful kid gear/toys and well appointed kitchen. My husband and I stayed with our two young children and had a fantastic time. The host is super communicative and has considered every detail to make your stay extra comfortable. What a delight!

This was the perfect home for our mountain adventure! We had everything we needed in this house, the loft was perfect for the kids, the kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after hiking. Centrally located to many activities, we hiked to several waterfalls and checked out the shops in the surrounding areas. We will definitely be back.

Cabin was in a great location and very clean

We had a wonderful stay at this home! It’s tucked away in the mountains, which made it feel peaceful and relaxing, yet it’s still very conveniently located close to everything we wanted to do. It was the perfect balance of quiet mountain getaway and easy access to nearby attractions.Diane was an outstanding host. She was very responsive and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. She even went out of her way to accommodate our family’s asthma and allergy concerns, which meant so much to us and made the trip far more comfortable.The house itself was spotless. You could tell a lot of care goes into keeping it clean and well maintained. One of our favorite things about the home was the lighting, it created such a calm, relaxing atmosphere in the evenings and made the whole space feel warm and welcoming.A special highlight was seeing deer outside almost every morning, it made the experience feel even more peaceful and special.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Diane was super welcoming and accommodating. It snowed during our visit and she had a snow plow come out and clear the driveway and road area. There was central and peripheral ( propane-power) heat along with a fireplace to make the cabin super cozy when the temperature got down to the single digits. The open loft arrangement made it perfect to have family sleepover time. My daughter took full advantage of the bunk bed, toys, painting station, and wooden car track. The hot tub was so relaxing and hot even with snow on the ground. We truly enjoyed ourselves and I highly recommend this cabin!

My family and I had an excellent stay at this rental. It was clear that the host is very meticulous about keeping the house very clean and full of helpful amenities. Small touches like a s'mores bar, holiday lights and decorations, and hot cocoa were very thoughtful and won big points from my kids. Highly recommend staying here!

Cabin was easy to locate and was very clean. It was filled with everything needed for a family of four. Bunk beds and play area were perfect for our 9yo girl and 3yo girl.

Cabin was very private and especially kid friendly

Diane goes above and beyond. She set us texts with the needed info and answered my questions very quickly. There are special treats (if you have a sweet tooth- and I do) for you when you get there. The other area that gets HIGH marks is cleanliness. This place is clean! The kitchen has every appliance most people would think of using. And there’s a nice selection of coffee k-cups and also a nice tea selection. My wife found a new favorite- Lady Grey. Didn’t need, but this place is stocked with some baby furniture and there’s a play area for the kids in the loft area. Although it rained some, the porch is well protected from the eliminates. We sat out each night of our stay and did some reading and relaxing. Watched the deer pass through in the mornings and evenings.

Remote and relaxing - Quiet, except for the tree peepers - fully stocked and has everything you need - very comfortable beds - I didn't want to leave.

Our group of 4 sisters/best friends stayed at the cabin for 2 nights and loved every minute of it! We went on several adventures in the surrounding area, but could have easily stayed son property the whole time. It was comfortable and a great place to spend time outside in nature or curled up inside.

Had a wonderful time staying in Boone! The kids loved playing in the front yard and loved all of the toys. The cabin is cozy and the amenities are above and beyond. Keep in mind the loft is open, it made it difficult for our little one to sleep, but other than that it was a wonderful trip!

Beautiful home. Thoughtfully stocked and designed for entertainment of adults and children of all ages. This was so appreciated as we have a young family. The upstairs loft area was perfect for our children to enjoy some creative play time. They have thought of it all and the beds were so comfy. The only negative is the loft area is truly a loft and not a separate room. There is no sleeping downstairs if anyone is upstairs in the loft playing as the floors are not insulated from the loft and the noise transfers to below. This was not a problem for us at all but certainly something we noticed. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again hands down.

This was our 2nd time staying at this beautiful cabin. Everything was cozy and comfortable. Location is the best. Lovely short drives to Blowing Rock, Valle Cruicis, Banner Elk and of course downtown Boone. Even the grocery store and restaurants are close by. Staying at the cabin itself was perfect to relax and unplugg from everyday life. The owner is very prompt and courteous with communicating. I hope to return again!

We live in the Charlotte region so the drive up was easy. My husband, me, and our two children enjoyed two nights. Everything was exactly as Dianne said it would be in property description. Loved the hot tub and puzzles!

Thanks to Diane, we had an amazing anniversary! The cabin was a perfect escape with plenty of privacy while being close to Boone and Blowing Rock. If we had any questions Diane was quick to answer and did a great job with the romance package. We will definitely be visiting again!

Me and my husband and 2 year old daughter specifically picked this rental for all of the accessories for her. It came with a pack and play, a high chair, a changing table, and gates for the stairs which were all extremely helpful. She also had tons of things to play with. The property is beautiful especially in winter. The fire and hot tub were great for the adults. We couldn't have asked for a better rental! The owner was also very communicative and left things for our arrival.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this cabin. The attention to the little details really made a difference (all the items for s’mores, little snacks, coffee and cooking oils & spices!) The hot tub was a bonus, as well. We look forward to staying here again soon.

My husband and I loved this cabin. Fully stocked kitchen, king size beds, smart TVs, wifi, fireplace, hot tub, fire pit. It was perfect for our couple-getaway. However, it would also be great for a family as there are multiple bathrooms and sleeping areas, and baby/toddler items available. Anyway, we enjoyed all of it, especially the hot tub! And I loved the extra little touches like the smores bar and cabin book club book. The property was clean and ready for us. Highly reccomend!

We loved staying in this cabin for our visit to Blowing Rock and Boone! It was in the perfect location to access both towns easily. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with supplies. The kids loved the cocoa bar and we enjoyed games and movies by the fireplace. The beds were comfy and there were lots of personal touches. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin with our four kids (ages 5-9). Everything was so clean and cozy. Our kids loved the family-friendly touches: paint easel, board games, doll house, smores, hot chocolate, bunk beds and hot tub. Kitchen was fully stocked and firewood provided for the fire pit. We made lots of lovely fanily memories here for our Christmas break!

Comfy, fresh beds, well-stocked bathrooms, extra sweetness with a hot cocoa bar and toys for our toddler that she absolutely loved. We couldn't have done better, if we provided ourselves. Thank you for making this our home away from home!

The property is incredible and the host went above and beyond. My toddler had a great time playing with the toys in the cabin and the house even came supplied with a high chair. The pictures don’t do this home justice. Excellent location with incredible views. 5/5 no questions asked.

My husband and I were looking for a place to bunker in for a few days. This cabin was adorable, clean, and they really thought of everything. The host was very kind and quick to reply. We were so thankful for how affordable it was and the memories we were able to make here. Definitely worth the stay. We cannot wait to come back!

We had such a wonderful stay. The cabin is so comfortable and cozy and all the special added touches like the coffee station, snacks and supplies for s’mores made it so welcoming. Diane was easy to communicate with as well. Our only wish is that we had more time to enjoy it.

The cabin is very relaxing and we now stay there in May and September.

House was very relaxing, even with a two month old baby. Host had changing table setup before we arrived. Would definitely book again!

My husband and I recently stayed at this adorable home while attending a wedding celebration in Blowing Rock. The home was so comfortable, and we had so much fun, that we were reluctant to leave! The house was spacious but also cozy and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty to do to keep us busy, from the hot tub and fire pit to the ping pong table and front porch swing. Never even turned on the TV! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of and every cooking item you could use. I will definitely put this one on our list to revisit when we can stay longer! Oh, and Diane was wonderful to work with, very responsive to every inquiry!
