Join us on the sandy shores of lake Koshkonong for an escape from the city

Very spacious and perfect layout for our family! Hosts were very receptive and communicated well.

Overall, the home and location is great. Plenty of space for larger groups inside and out. It's near perfect. If not for the circumstances of our experience, we would rent it again. Unfortunately, there was a progressing fly and wasp issue in the home that was not ideal, especially while traveling with our toddler, which caused us to leave a day early and notify the owner. To my fault, I did not provide management an opportunity to remedy the issue during our short stay before we left, but we couldn't foresee any immediate noninvasive intervention the owner could provide, so we choose to leave hoping the owner would be understanding and hopefully provide a partial refund for the trouble. Im an outdoors person who has done a notable amount of backpacking in much more deciduous places than the Northwoods of Lake Koshkonong, including 72 miles on the Appalachian trail. Im no stranger to insects, but the owner downplayed the fly and wasp issue saying, Our cleaning team inspected the home prior to your arrival and did not note any unusual conditions. After your departure we inspected again and did not find evidence of an infestation, other than a couple of flies, which is not uncommon in the Northwoods. I've never asked for a refund from a host prior to this incident. This was the first time and I believe the owner could have been more understanding and reasonable in providing even a small good will gesture amount as a refund.

It was a lovely property for family to gather and enjoy time together on the large deck and the fire pit. Nice large kitchen for the family and place was well equipped.

Of all the properties in the area this one has a nicer beach for swimming

Beautiful home. Our family loved it and will definately go again! It was our first time ever renting and the management company was very kind and helpful during our stay. The beds were so comfortable. The view is amazing. The kids thought they won the lottery with the bunkbeds. We would definately love to come back.

This place is large and spread out. The beds are very comfortable. The view from the living room is lovely, but there is no view from any of the bedrooms. There is plenty of room to relax and entertain in the living room, dining room and kitchen The back porch is also very comfortable and it's a short walk to the lake. The smoke alarm went off while we were there because the battery was low. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Large, clean and quiet

This is a beautiful location. Very spacious rooms. This should be an exceptional property and possibly was at one time. But it was not clean and could use some TLC. We did some cleani ng ourselves and were able to enjoy time together

This house was great for our Milton College reunion! 7 of us stayed here and we all had a great time!

I should have known things wouldn’t be what we expected paying $3,500 for 4 nights. First of all, we were supposed to bring our own towels for bathing. Never had that before when staying at a VRBO. The property manager was nice enough to provide some towels for us, so I thought there was hope. We got to the property and it was not clean & definitely didn’t impress. My niece got there before us and warned us not to take off our shoes. She had been there a hour before us and her feet were black from dirty floors. We still decided to let it slide since they were so gracious with the towels. My niece brought her Firestick, so that’s how we watched TV the prior 3 days. Sunday, she left with the Firestick and from that point on, we had no live TV. When we were able to get the TV on through various apps, it would shut off after 5 mins. After all this and NO response from management, I will tell you, this property was filthy. We placed 3 different calls and heard nothing back! I have photos of spiderwebs and spiders living all over the inside of this home. Couldn’t use the chairs by fire pit, since they were covered in webs and spiders. The railing upstairs is so loose, my mom went upstairs to see the beautiful view and the entire railing wobbles! The final straw, no response in 24 hours. Both my husband and my self we bit by who knows what the last night there. When we stripped the bed, my pillow was stained yellow and disgusting ! We left today with no call backs!

This house is very spacious and worked well for our family of 10. The views of the lake are wonderful. We had a great time. Unfortunately the dock was under water due to the tremendous amount of rain they have received. Loved seeing the wildlife.

Overall the property was exactly what we read about when we booked the property. Great location, clean, about 10 minutes to get groceries, etc. One suggestion: The frig in the kitchen several of the drawers to store fruit, veggies, lunch meat, etc did not slide open and close easy. It almost felt if we pushed them to hard, we would break them.

It’s pretty much what described. Clean, spacious, provides everything you need at the kitchen. Communication is amazing! Will recommend to friends and family!
