Very unique cabin. Built by owner. One of a kind. Clean, quiet discount on breakfast next door for fabulous crepes!

My new wife and I loved staying here for our honeymoon. The cabin was super cool and had just what we needed. To cook bigger meals, though, we ended up using the campfire across the street at the host's main property and cooked over that using a cooking grate, which made the food taste awesome. It's close to everything, and if this is still here in exactly 10 years, we'll be staying here again. :)

I was very nice, just as described.

Nice little cabin, for shorter people. All 3 males on trip hit their heads on antlers mounted at top of steps. Cabin had not been cleaned from the last guests when we arrived. Happen to see the owner next door and she cleaned it right away while we went to dinner. Shower is small and water leaks on to the floor when showering. Nicely decorated, and heater works very well. Nice place to stay if not too tall.

fully prepared house with full amenity and jack London culture elements. It is quite and clean and very suitable for a family travel. The location is right on the exit glacier road and also very close to Seward harbor.

This was an adorable little cabin that had thoughtful and unique decorations. We loved the deer head and the bear skin especially. Very warm and cozy. Communication with Janet was clear and timely.

Love the rustic feel. It was very clean and it had plenty of everything we needed to be comfortable. Coffee was available and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay at this place again. From this location it was a short drive to do some shopping, hiking, and go to the grocery store.

Just what we were looking for in an incredible area.

So cozy and cute. Perfect location right outside of the main section of Homer. Loved the creperie and our guest discount- our breakfast was delicious! Janet was very sweet and welcomed us when we arrived. Comfortable beds. We loved it and would stay here again.

Cozy cabin nice for a weekend stay

Lovely log cabin, very cosy and warm. Cabin is suitable for 4 people as kitchen only accommodates 4.Fridge freezer is tiny and we managed, could you pls upgrade this? It would be useful to have 2 induction rings so that parallel cooking can be done. BBQ in front of creperie is good and we had most of our meals there Overall very good stay, awesome location and very clean.

Wonderful stay in this beautiful and cosy cabin. We were a group of 5, we would have loved to have enough chairs for all and cooking dishes are limited, but we would definitely come back. Thank you Janet!

Awesome place!

Check In process was very simple, the door code worked perfectly. We were very comfortable at the cabin and enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was small, but had everything we needed, including complimentary coffee. Would recommend this cabin to anyone.

The decor in this cabin is perfect for the setting. There was plenty of room for two adults and was a nice place to come back to after very active days. We weren’t able to stop by and have crepes, but if we’re lucky enough to come back to Seward again, we will definitely work it in!

This cabin is “The Real Deal” Alaskan Log Cabin. No plywood, or drywall, just real log beams for walls, ceiling frame, etc, etc. The cabin is filled with decor from an era long gone, but not forgotten. The decor brought me to the place I wanted to be, in “The Last Frontier”. Deer & moose antlers, wolf & bear skins, dog sled out front, among other wonderful things warmed my heart. It does have the modern amenities you need thou, hot water, heaters, and electricity, even wifi were all provided. The faucet water is glacier water that was the BEST tasting water I’ve ever had. It was a joy to stay here. Plenty of kitchen accessories, toaster, microwave, convection over, cooktop, small rerig, etc. we just loved it. I will definitely be back someday! Highly recommend for those who appreciate the “Way it should be”!!!

Great place would rent again

Great 2 nights in the cabin. Hot water and great water pressure.

We loved this cabin. We have a family of 6 and felt it to be plenty of room. The cabin was cute, simple and had the Alaskan feel. Store and laundry mat very close by. Host was AMAZING! Coffee, sugar and creamer were provided. When the toaster broke she had a brand new one to us by morning. Owner also owns the creperie across the street which was also wonderful.

There were three of us in the cabin. My daughter, a friend, and myself. We found the cabin comfortable and cozy. Connect with the owner was very easy. When you stay you also get a discount when eating at the crepe restaurant also owned by them.

Welcoming and conviently located with every thing we could have needed for our stay.We enjoyed reading more about Jack London. Host always responded promptly. Many thanks for adding joy and comfort to our stay in Alaska. We appreciate you. The Stewarts

Cabin was very clean and unique . Beds were very comfortable , shower was great. Coffee provided was greatly appreciated. Enjoyed going to the salmon bake for dinner and the creperie for breakfast . Crepes were amazing and so meet to see Janet making them and getting to meet her. Overall excellent experience!

Loved the Jack London theme!

Very nice old log cabin. Clean and well stocked, though by the listing we thought it was more by itself in the woods, instead next to apartments and across the street from several businesses. Otherwise is was very convenient to Exit Glacier, fishing, and the grocery store and downtown. We were very comfortable there, and even had a black bear sighting in our driveway one morning. Would recommend this cute old cabin.
