Stayed Aug 13, 2025We’ve stayed at several VRBO’s over the years with a large family and to a person this property is our favorite by far! We loved the layout both inside and out. There are many windows with exceptional lighting and views inside and a rap around deck and spacious grass yard outside expertly maintained. It’s solidly built with attention to every detail. Our many grandchildren loved the bunk room, and we loved the master bedroom. Our married children found their four bedrooms adequate, but envied the master. Who wouldn’t? I would love to own a home like this!

Stayed Jun 22, 2024We rented Hygge Lakehouse for a family reunion. There were enough bedrooms for each of the adult couples to have their own bedroom and our grandkids loved sleeping (partying) in the bunk room with their cousins. This place does not have the usual stains and scars of a short-term rental. Very clean and apparently recently updated. The game room is excellent and the view/setting is fantastic. If we rent again (good possibility) we'll probably bring a boat or waverunners. The river was bigger than we anticipated, the dock is in the backyard, and there is a boat ramp literally right next door (assuming that renters are allowed to use it.) Highly recommended.

Stayed Jun 17, 2024We loved the location, house, communication, and experience. This is about 40 mins from the entrance of West Yellowstone. The house has incredible views of the river and even saw a few river otters. The house was the best stocked that I have ever stayed out. This is not 2nd hand camping gear- but quality appliances, pots, pans, etc. The house was recently renovated and in fantastic shape. Highly recommended!

Stayed May 24, 2024Hygge Lakehouse was the perfect place for our getaway. We enjoyed the game room, playing in the backyard and the convenience of the boat launch. The house was beautiful and clean with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!
