Stayed Feb 16, 2024This cabin is a wonderful stay for those who want to avoid hotels and love the outdoors. The cabin is nestled in the low-lying mountains around Montpelier and has quiet, gorgeous woods surrounding it. It's a bit of a bumpy ride getting there but we were amazed it was only took 15 minutes to get to downtown Montpelier. The cabin does only have one bedroom but it has several beds and a great wide screen HDTV. It has great, high-speed Internet and a gas fireplace. The shower is amazing and the kitchen was fully stocked. Rick, the host, was communicative and ensured we had an excellent stay. We highly recommend this for small groups who are comfortable sharing a room and want the best of all worlds in the Montpelier region.

Stayed Oct 18, 2023This property is perfect if you are looking to get out and escape from society while still being nearby to restaurants and civilization. This beautiful little cabin is set up on a hillside away from any neighbors. It was the perfect place to bring our pup and have a cozy getaway! Dr. Rick was a pleasure to communicate with! He checked in with us several times and was super responsive to any questions I had. Possibly the best rental we've been to on the East side of the country! We hope to return soon!
