This would have been a 5 but they have portable heaters with no vents. We were worried about carbon dioxide so we didn’t run them all night and it got cold. Also, we wanted to check in 50 minutes early and called. The lady who answered did not even answer with the resort and then said she could not check us in early, the place was ready. Waited tell 3 and was checked in. Just felt very unprofessional.

I enjoyed most things about the property. It made me feel like I was at camp. Room was nice, games were fun. Staff were nice. Only issues were that the outdoor shower turned cold right after I jumped in and the cabin creaked a lot when the wind picked up. The room could use a mirror and a sink in the bath would be nice. Our neighbors were talking very loudly at 5 in the morning so they didnt observe quiet time. Overall its a fun property though and I would recommend.

The location is unique and wonderful outdoor areas with fire pits and games. Sauna and hot tub were huge bonus! My cottage was great, but ouch prices are so high in Seward on 4th of July. You can update your listing to include fully what is provided. You have a very special area with cottages, RV park, and helicopter tours. One of my only criticisms is that your parking lot is a great size, but the stumps you use as markers are hard to see from inside your actual vehicle.

There are no mirrors in the room, there are no hooks to hang coats to dry out. There is a large ice chest, but no ice on the property. There is no phone number to ask questions about the property before arriving. No real signs directing you to the an office. The key is a single key with a small piece of paper attached to it with the room number. The showers are hard to use, and they are not level so the water pools at one end and it hard to re-dress within the shower area. If there were others in the cottages next to us, you could hear there conversations within our cottage. But it served it's purpose and was clean. I think they just have some growing pains. it was only open for about a year now.

Overall, staying here was a frustrating experience. There was a lack of communication from the property management about the check in process despite best efforts on our part. Similar sentiments of frustration were further echoed by other people we spoke with who were staying at the site for a variety of other reasons. That aside, it was a very comfortable bed, but if you are a light sleeper, the creaky-ness of the tent structure made it difficult to get a good sleep.

We liked this stay a lot! Very new and clean, overlooking the mountains, very nice and refreshing. Nice restaurant in a walking distance. Very friendly staff. With that, keep in mind:1. It’s a tent! The walls are made of fabric. This means you can hear everything, from salmon splashing in the river right behind your bed (pretty cool!), to your neighbors arguing. Luckily, for the most part we’ve had pretty quiet neighbors.2. It’s pretty far from downtown, so you either hike with luggage 45 minutes or you need a ride. Free shuttle goes around Seward every 20-30 minutes and can take you 1/2 way to a military base, and from there it’s about 30 minutes walking. We arrived to Seward by train, and didn’t want to spend money renting a car to drive 10 minutes. We made it work for 1 night stay, but for longer stays I’d recommend renting a car. 3. Also, management wasn’t the most responsive, possibly due to poor signal. But considering that many people do what we did, and arrive pretty tired after the long and early train ride, it would be nice if they figured out some means of transportation to and from Seward downtown.

Convenient location to the boat harbor. We stayed one night before our Kenai Fjords tour. The tent seemed almost brand new. Clean and cozy. The heater worked really good. Restroom was clean. Staff was very attentive and brought us blankets and extra pillows. I was surprised fire wood was included for the little private fire pit each “cabin” has. The rocking chairs on the porch were cute and very functional.

Awesome adventure! Loved living here for a night. The view from our front porch was epic. The space is so neat and clean. Beds were so comfy. Can hear others walking by at night so bring ear plugs. The sauna was awesome. The hot tub was lukewarm but still great to soak. The river was so close by we could walk to it. The pond was so close and people were walking in these bubble balls! Fun to watch. The check in process was a lil iffy. Had to ask a neighbor where they went. It was an unmarked office behind the woodpile fyi. They gave us free wood to start our own fire! The bathroom and the showers were so fun to use. They were a short walk. They had a grill and bean bag game. Fun people to talk to all over. Just the best!!!

We stayed for just one night on our first night in Seward, and were totally glad we did. Everything was very basic. But extremely tidy and well-run. The gals that run the operation (Tanya in particular) were on top of every detail. We’d stay there again.

This tented camp setup reminded me of my safari in Africa but with a more of a KOA atmosphere. On the plus side, the tents were lovely, very clean, and had fresh water, toiletries, etc. Bed was also comfortable, although we only got one pillow each and they were pretty solid and not too comfy. The biffy was absolutely full, and desperately in need of a pump out! Also, none of the showers were working except in the office so there was a huge lineup at the office. We skipped showering for this reason. The manager who checked people in was clearly run off her feet so we arrived not being entirely sure what to do until we found her checking multiple people in at once. She said she would report back with Wi-Fi info but I had to text her a reminder. I don't blame her for this but it is a little chaotic. We are also situated next to a highway so we could hear traffic all the time, which took from the outdoorsy/wilderness vibe they were trying to create. Also, there were so many tents and they were arranged in such a way that you could see them out your windows and doors. I think it would have been better if they were all facing in the same direction so that you could see the mountains without looking at your neighbors across the way. That said, there were certainly spectacular views of the mountains all around. Not sure if we would stay there again, but we certainly made the best of things while we were there. We did enjoy the bean bag toss and badminton games that were out!

We had a great time. Enjoyed the tents, outdoor shower, sauna, and hot tub. Please keep in mind this is a new facility and still a work in progress. Once they get all the showers and bathrooms going it will be great.

We had a great three days in our cozy glamping cabin. Warms showers in the morning and hot tub at night were nice, and the location is excellent for exploring Seward and getting out to the national park.
