Hoot Owl Cabin – Private Hot Tub & Outdoor Living

The cabin is beautiful inside and out. The views from the deck are amazing. The bedrooms have everything you need. The kitchen has all the pots and pans for cooking any meal. It’s so peaceful when you are sitting out at night. There’s a swing by the fire pit and also a grill to make spending as much time outside possible.

The owners were quick to respond with answers to questions. However the cabin we stayed in was definitely not cleaned my toddler immediately found a mikes hard bottle cap on the floor the sheets and bedding were also all wrinkled and there was hair in the bed but the views are amazing ! The drive up is sketchy if you’re from out of state there is absolutely no lights on the mountains. But again it’s the mountains so not the owners fault but the lights leading to our cabin were out there were no lights by the hot tub and the upper floor lock was on the outside of the building so we had to leave to buy something to make sure no one could get in for safety reasons. If you are looking for strictly views then this is perfect. But everything is so far and again the clean aspect was not present.

The view was amazing!!! The cabin had all the luxury of home but felt like a hidden gem away from all the worries of the world. We would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Breathtaking views! Cabin was clean and very happy with our stay. The only thing I'll say was that I was disappointed with the hot tub experience due to the cover being broken and disintegrating and left particles everywhere in the water, also because it didn't cover the hot tub well, there were ants all inside it. Easy fix to just replace the cover, otherwise could have been amazingly relaxing.

Hoot Owl cabin is the perfect getaway. The views are amazing with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Very quiet and comfortable. Everything was as described. Highly recommend.

Wow! The Hoot Owl is one of the best cabins we’ve rented. The view overlooking Nickajack lake is exceptional. It felt so private and peaceful even though other Grant Summit cabins were nearby. Not a detail was overlooked from the Adirondack chairs on the double balconies to the beautiful irises and roses in bloom near the swing, fire pit, and hot tub. 10/10 would rent again!

Very enjoyable stay! Only qualms were half of the hot tub cover is quite damaged and an event occurring on 4/17 made parking a little difficult. Outside of that the views were spectacular and we had a great stay!

Our family had a great time at Hoot Owl. The views were stunning and the house had everything we needed. The pool was also fantastic for kids of all ages. Everyone made friends and just had a great time.Only thing to note, is that the pool complex is a drive from the cabin. Not a big deal, and there’s pool towels there. Just would have packed a bit differently if I knew!

We absolutely loved our little cabin and will definitely be back for another visit maybe next year again. We couldn’t find the main place with all the extra activities but we loved our private spa and the views was some of the best

The mountain view is gorgeous! We enjoyed our stay and would love to come again. The cabin was nice and clean.

Everything about Hoot Owl was perfect! The entire property ground was beautiful. Our cabin was super clean and smelled fantastic. The view is something from a magazine that can be seen from every floor including the hot tub. Communication was great with the owners and you can see they care about your stay in every detail of the cabin. We will stay again!

This is a very nice little cabin tucked away on top of a mountain overlooking a lake. The views are incredible and the cabin was comfortable and cozy.

We stayed in Hoot Owl (Grant Summit Cabins) 4 days. The cabin is lovely--very clean and nicely decorated and the fireplace was wonderful during a cold snap. The cabin has tons of windows and 2 porches with nice Adirondack chairs and wrought iron tables and chairs. The views, both at night and during the day, were breathtaking! The cabin was very affordable. We plan to return as often as we can get vacation from work!

Everything was as advertised, we thought it was really beautiful and had everything we needed. Cleanliness was only 4/5 because the floor could have been swept better, we found some leftover things around both upstairs and down, but overall very nice.

Extraordinary...AWESOME! Peaceful..Privacy! We will return.
