Hurricane Helene Update: Our cabins are in good shape. Our lakefront and first pond have been damaged and are being repaired. The construction at our lakefront to remove sediment from the lake from Hurricane Helene has finished and the lake is deeper than it has been in many years! Stayed Jul 3, 2025Location was a 10 although no water due to previous devastation. Cabin size was great, very rustic and charming. The cleanliness however needs immediate attention. Spider webs EVERYWHERE! The kitchen area has significant cracks between the wood which is not repaired by concrete, the A/C filter needs to be changed to minimize the musty moldy smell and blowing of allergens thru out the cabin. Overall it was decent and with care can be more utilized.

Stayed Jun 29, 2023Exactly what was advertised. Very clean, rustic, pet friendly, log cabin at Lake Lure with lake access and close to Chimney Rock. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend weatherwise and amenities in cabin. Simple and clean accommodations.
