Very cozy cabin. We loved it, and didn't want to leave.

It was ok. The refrigerator did not look like it had been cleaned. Had a hard time with the air conditioning. The view is outstanding

Exactly what I expected! Adorable cabin! The bed was very comfy and plenty of towels etc. were provided. The view is a plus! Cute, big kitchen and lots of deck space. Made our 40th Anniversary Special!

This was absolutely amazing and beautiful. We had plans and restaurants to go to but once we was arrived at the cabin we didn’t want to leave the coziness of the deck and views. We grilled and cooked most meals there and the cabin was our vacation! Great 4 days

We really enjoyed the cabin. To me, it seems like this is the only real log cabin in the immediate area and that really made it stand out and seem extra special. I like the owners and they were easy to communicate with.

Lovely as always. We have stayed here a number of times. Each time it seems like a home away from home. Unfortunately, weather threw a ringer into our stay with very severe weather knocking out the power for the whole Anatole loop area and turning bitterly cold. Not anything that could have been prevented. Still, a lovely place to stay with great host's. Thanks again Nate and Dona.

We love this cabin and have stayed in it twice. The view from the back porch is amazing and the cabin is beautiful and cozy! Great location, close to Bathhouse Row but also in a quiet, less crowded area. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and hope to return.

The cabin was great, and the view was beautiful! The host was wonderful and very respectful and attentive. The only thing my husband and I would have preferred different would be curtains on the windows to outside. With the bedroom not having a door, it felt a little uncomfortable feeling like we could be seen since you could see straight to the windows from the entrance to the bedroom. We were able to put a blanket on the doorway to the room. Other than that, our stay was perfect!

Overall this was the perfect little cabin to celebrate mine and my wife’s 24th anniversary. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the area while drinking our coffee out on the deck in the morning, as well as the evenings. We enjoyed the authenticity of the little cabin. Although it’s been updated, you can still feel the rich history of it.We enjoyed the daily visit from the neighborhood cats and even got a visit from a little deer on our last morning there. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a quiet little place to stay outside of the noise of the city. With that said, you are a mere 15 minutes or so away from all the attractions Hot Springs has to offer.I have no real complaints on the property, but I think it’s important the owner shares some updated photos to this site so people know exactly what they’re getting when they book this property.

If you’re looking for a cozy place for 2 this is your sign. Cozy, felt safe and close to everything we wanted to see.

We loved the vibe in this old cabin and the view from the front porch was amazing. The bed was super comfortable also. A few things to be aware of. The door to the shower was not meant for tall people. Once in the shower it’s not bad but be sure and duck down getting in if you’re tall. This place also has no central AC. The host has done a good job of placing portable ACs and fans around but if you are a naturally hot person, you might want to bring an extra fan. We go to the Hot Springs area often and will definitely consider staying again.

If you love the aesthetics of an older log cabin this is the place. Super cozy and we felt right at home. The view was amazing and the area is super quiet. It’s close to all of the things we wanted to see. If we ever get the chance to visit Arkansas again I would love to stay here for a second time.

The cabin is not on Lake Claiborne , it is across the street. If you have mobility issues this one is not for you. The cabin was clean. When we arrived the cabin was hot and lacked adequate air-conditioning. We ended up not staying due to these things

This cabin is a wonderful, quiet getaway with a beautiful view of the Ouchita River. It is definitely historic but has all the needed modern amenities. If you're looking for something fancy in the thick of action, this isnt it. If you want privacy and quiet, you found it!

Absolutely stunning hidden gem!!!!!! This is literally all me and my girlfriend dreamed about when we thought about by “staying at a cabin by the water”. It completely surpassed my expectations. We have beautiful memories at this place and I will 100% be back!! If you’re in town for a couple days, don’t look elsewhere!

We could have spent our entire time on the huge deck overlooking the lake. Very comfy, charming cabin.

The cabin was quite cozy, but the yard needed to be mowed and the hedges/bushes needed trimming. The deck was in need of cleaning. Spider webs and the deck needed to be blown off. The inside needed attention also. The shower wasn’t very clean and the rest of the cabin was dusty…baseboards, screen in front of fireplace.

View from the deck totally different, due to the 8’ picket fence that wasn’t shown in the pictures. Deadbolt lock with no key on the doors from the living room to the deck. cats fighting under the house at 3am. Property landscaping in horrible condition.

We were between weekly destinations and needed to stay somewhere for two nights. This cabin was perfect! We would love to visit again for a longer stay!

Peaceful and very accommodating

Quiet cozy little cabin tucked away near the lake. I enjoyed reading on the deck and listening to the trees as the wind blew. Getting to the cabin and parking is tricky, but not too bad. Plenty of blankets and heaters for when it gets cold, lucky it was Spring time and I did not need them but when the A/C is on you may need the blankets at least.

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend for our anniversary. It was very cute and cozy. It is definitely only for two people to stay with 1 bedroom. It was clean. The toilet area of the bathroom was separate from the shower area but there is not a door to shut for privacy. Just something to be aware about. It was hard to figure out where to pull in at night going by maps as you have to park behind the property and maps took you to the front. It was very dark. However, I would highly recommend for a couple’s getaway

This was the first time I rented a house/cabin/cottage, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The view of the lake, the comfort of furniture on the porch to relax while enjoying the view, the cozy living area, the glow of the fire in the fireplace, the rustic feeling while not losing any comfort all culminated to make for the perfect getaway. The only complaint was about the bathroom, but these issues were eluded to in the description of the property. My 6'7 husband didn't fit very well in the shower stall, and the toilet was very short. Anyone in the bedroom had complete view of a person getting into the shower. Bathroom issues aside, and excused for the historical nature of the cabin, which wasn't originally set up with indoor plumbing, all the rest of of the cabin's beauty and charm countered the issue. I hope staying here again is in my future.

My wife and i had a peaceful getaway near hot springs national park. The cabin was quiet, clean, lovely and peaceful. It had a nice view of the lake and was close to the action, but far enough from the crowds. We also enjoyed visits from local cats.

We loved having a weekend away here. It was super quiet yet not far from the town. There were some adorable cats in the neighborhood, the kitchen had everything we needed and the overall cabin was incredibly cozy. We will be coming back!

This was supposed to be an anniversary trip but my spouse was unable to come. A friend came with me and we enjoyed ourselves and the “cabin kitties” so much. I’m sure they were neighbor cats but we enjoyed the daily visits. Views were great!!!

First time going to Hot Springs. I took my wife for a weekend getaway. The cabin was amazing. Loved the history and it was a short easy drive to the historic downtown and easy drive to the highway. Thanks for letting us make memories in a cabin that has made many memories since the 1920's.
