Hilltop Cabin

The cabin was extremely clean and has a well set-up kitchen. The gas fireplace makes it cozy in the fall/winter months. It's a very convenient place to stay especially if you want to be self-sufficient and eat your own food.

Cabin was perfect for my husband and me. Loved the character and appreciated the washer / dryer and kitchen. Had a relaxing evening enjoying the countryside views and Ole Man River.

The scenery was absolutely stunning! Got to watch the sunrise and sunset both nights we were there. And got our own northern lights show! Thank you for the amazing experience

Yoka (the dog) is the greatest unexpected bellhop. She took time to show us around and walked us all the way to the door of the cabin to ensure we made it safely. She is so proficient at her job that she was actually quite comfortable coming on in and showing us around. The cabin is adorable, and the view is amazing but Yoka was the best amenity

The owners have done a fantastic job of making this cabin a nice retreat. I would highly recommend this cabin as a getaway.

If Hill Top cabin is available; book it! The view of the Old Man River, and rolling hills are my favourite. The cabin has everything you could want for a weekend get away. Privacy, quiet, bird watching, and peace. The full kitchen made meal times easy, so there was no need for takeout food at all. The furniture and beds were comfortable; felt like I was at home. We had a special guest come by checking on us; a beautiful Burmese Mountain Dog. Happy, friendly, and liked to receive our scritches and scratches. This pup made sure to say good-bye to us, as well! This will be the place I will try to rent every trip I take to Ft. MacLeod area. To me and my sister, it felt magical. I found it would sleep 3 people comfortably; 1 double in the loft, and a single in the side room. The one couch could be a good sleep spot for a 4th if they don’t mind.

A few more supplies in the kitchen (salad bowls, coffee filters,paperwork etc) along with a TV (not necessary but would be nice for some guests) The home and the lovely dog, Toka (louvres belly rubs) is peaceful, the hosts, kind, gracious and welcoming (you have to check out their business, Hilltop Greenhouse too)

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very clean and tidy. Very cute and welcoming. Unfortunately, we had a lot of snow and fog, so exploring the outside area wasn’t ideal. If it was during summer time, I’m sure there would be a lot more to see and explore. The cabin was cozy and my concern was the creaking of the floor when you walk, especially in the middle of the night, it woke everyone up with the creaking sound. Other than that, it was pretty amazing.

This cozy cabin was the perfect place to escape the holiday chaos over Christmas. It was very comfortable and well stocked with kitchen supplies. The grounds and views were absolutely beautiful.

The cabin was very clean and we were greeted by a very friendly furry gal named Yoka who spent most of her time on the porch the entire time we were there. It was well supplied with towels, dishes, etc.and a spectacular view. The hostess was very respectful of our privacy but was available promptly when we needed dish soap. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet retreat.

The property is beautiful. I loved waking up and drinking my coffe while taking in the view. The cabin was cozy and nice and has everything you need to make your stay great. I will return for sure.

Great little cabin, clean, good communication with owner. Friendly dog. Spotted an Eagle across the river. A few small improvements would help even more, trim back the pathway to the cabin and concrete the pathway so as not to have to carry luggage from parking area. Otherwise nice place and relaxing place to stay.

Everything I hoped for and more

We had a great time at the Hilltop cabin - we had a very rainy weekend and yet still enjoyed the escape. Fun to explore the area and otherwise enjoy the River view from a cozy setting. Suzanne was incredibly responsive - had a few hiccups with a window leak (again, so much rain) and starting up the heating. Great spot, hope the return for a sunny stay so the porch can be enjoyed.

Clean, enjoyable stay

Late May visit: lots of sky on view from this perch! Great for birdwatching/listening, with nesting catbirds, yellow warblers, mourning doves and even a pair of orioles :) The cabin has all the amenities, very nice, private outdoor space and the hosts were helpful and friendly. Don't miss visiting the nearby Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

The cottage is lovely and beautifully located above the Oldman River with a great view to the west which makes watching the sun set fabulous. Oh those prairie skies!

Perfect amount of space and what we were looking for. Everything was as described. Bed was comfy. Doggo had a great time!

The cabin and scenery were simply beautiful, and amenities are fairly close by. We enjoyed our stay and so did our dog. The host responded very quickly to questions, all while respecting our privacy. We will be recommending to friends and family and plan to be back. Thank you!

This is such a lovely wood cabin, on an immaculately kept piece of land, just outside of Lethbridge. We cooked a simple meal, played a couple of the games that were stocked for guests, had a restful sleep, and watched the sunrise with coffee in the morning. We really appreciated the opportunity to stay and wouldn't hesitate to pop in again when travelling through the area :)

We had a lovely stay at Hilltop Cabin. The view is amazing and the sunsets were jaw dropping. The yard is to die for and the cabin itself was so cute and homey. Will definitely stay again if I need a place in Southern Alberta. The perfect getaway.

The cabin and the views are beautiful. We really enjoyed staying at this cabin it has everything: location , cleanliness and comfortable. Our kid loved playing in the playground that is just beside the cabin and our dogs had so much fun playing with Toka ( the sweetest dog). We definitely come back. Thanks for everything 😊
