Hidden Gem on Lake Lanier in Beautiful North GA Mtns Making Memories Since 2015

Completely stocked kitchen with LOTS of extras! Wendy was very accommodating and answered questions right away. We really enjoyed the home. Lots of sleeping space. Great enclosed porch area with pretty view. Cutely decorated with a Christmas tree as a really nice touch for December. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches in the house, like the toiletries and little extras. They made our stay very comfortable. The lake house was also decorated for Christmas which was such a nice and personable touch! Wendy is quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed to have a perfect stay. 10/10 recommend!

The host was awesome. She allowed us to have extra people over for a bbq and do a late checkout. The place was very nice and had many amenities. The only thing we didn’t like was the steep driveway and it was hard to find at night.

THE HIDDEN GEM IS JUST THAT - A JEWEL OF A HOME WELL OUTSIDE OF THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE AND EXACTLY THE GETAWAY WE WERE LOOKING FOR - WE'D LOVE TO BRING THE KIDS AND GRANDKIDS (YES, THERE'S ROOM FOR EVERYONE!) DURING SUMMER. WE WERE THERE FOR THE FALL VIBE AND THIS PROPERTY AND THE GORGEOUS WEATHER MORE THAN DELIVERED. LOVE THE SUNROOM/READING ROOM OVERLOOKING THE LAKE

Wendy has a beautiful clean and inviting home, The really low water level placed a damper on any water activities, but we still enjoyed our stay. The driveway down to the house can be intimidating to some.

This is a great house for a big family. It had everything we needed. From grilling out to playing games the big table. We had an awesome time!! Thank you!!

Nice, quiet place.

Great place to stay for vacation or over the weekend. We just needed a place for a few days, and this worked out great. Host has provided everything you could imagine for your dog and kids, especially the lake activities.

We had such a a wonderful trip! This home is so cute and clean...a perfect fit for our family with plenty of space for everyone. The welcome bag was such a nice touch! The dock and all the toys were a hit with the kids...they are now paddle board pros! The host Wendy was very quick to respond to my messages and so friendly. Thank you so much for everything...I will miss your beautiful sunroom!

This is our second time staying here. We absolutely love it. There’s so much for kids to do and I love that the dock is tucked away a little bit. House is well stocked. Perfect place to relax!

Great house with lots of room. Proximity to lake the best with all the water toys. Nice grill for cooking out. Kitchen well equipped. Host very receptive. Power went out for a bit and she had someone bring us ice. Very thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

How I wish we could have stayed longer! Even though we were in a neighborhood, the area was so quiet, and it felt as if we were in our own world, especially when sitting in the sunroom watching birds at the feeder. We traveled wirh one teen, six adults, and a dog. There was ample space for everyone and plenty of privacy. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean, and there were small staples like spices, oil and such in the cabinet. The board games were great for evenings. We spent much of our time fishing, canoeing, using the peddle boat, or sitting on the dock watching fireflies. We'd dedinitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your home with us and for the fabulous communication while we were setting it all up!

We had a great weekend at the lake! Plenty of room and water toys to enjoy. The sunroom was my favorite to enjoy morning coffee. We fished and caught 2 catfish and several brim. We paddled around the lake using the kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boat. It was a great stay. The path to the dock had several stairs, (some slick with rain) so we def. got our workout in but it was worth it. Will rent again in the future.

I stayed to visit my kids and grands for a late Christmas. The house was perfectly located feeling like the middle of no where but so close to anything you would need or want to do. It’s a beautiful and comfortable house with a beautiful view. Beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to make meals. Communication was impeccable. We were leaving to head back to SWFL the day after the snow storms in GA and northern FL so, out of concern for driving safety, we were offered a late check out. That kind of kindness is hard to find these days and greatly appreciated. We made it home safe :)

Perfect cabin for cozy family Xmas retreat. Spacious, comfortable, well stocked, and convenient location. Extremely gracious host pays close attention to detail.

Overall the property was perfect for our family. We were in the area for a family wedding. The house was warm and comfortable with plenty of bedrooms and a great treetop view of the lake. Rustic, well equipped, and very comfortable!

Family was in town for a mid week wedding. The Hidden Gem was a fantastic space and Wendy is AWESOME😁

Wendy is such a gracious host. Her house was everything we hoped for and more! Sitting in the sunroom watching the birds feed right at the window was pure joy and relaxing. Hidden Gem is so warm and welcoming. High recommend it!! Thanks Wendy for a wonderful week!

Wendy very accommodating. House had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. The only mild drawback was that you have to walk through a bedroom to get to any of the bathrooms. We were all family though so it worked out.

This house was perfect for our family—five adults, three children, and two dogs. The third level and dock were the fun zones for the children. The host thought of everything from board games to Foosball to paddle boards and fishing rods. The grown-ups loved the peace of the sunroom, which was more like a tree house. The dappled sunlight in the treetops created a sweet space for communion with family. The kitchen had everything we needed, and it was easy to prep meals. We loved gathering around the large dining table. I will offer a word of caution about the steep driveway and inside and outside steps. Please check with the host if you or your guests have mobility issues. The host was the epitome of professionalism and grace. She responded to our needs quickly and with good humor. She obviously loves the property and wants her guests to have a wonder-full experience.
