We loved our stay in this cabin. The floors are a little creaky but we were all family so no big deal. Very clean and beautiful views.

Great place! Bottom floor walks out to firepit and hot tub, and has its own tv viewing area, bedroom and bathroom: so thats great as an added getaway space for larger families. Final mile or so of the road to the cabin is single lane, but has a few spots for passing, so drive carefully.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The check-in process was smooth, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The space was comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home.Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area!

Thoroughly enjoyed this location since it was a very quiet, which is what we were looking for. Very little traffic on this mountain location. House was plenty of space for 5. Everything worked well and house was properly stocked. Two critiques: 1) Biggest critique is that the beds are small and extremely creaky. Owners should invest in better beds, especially at this rate. 2) Bedroom ceiling on the main floor leaked during a thunderstorm.

The house was great. Views were breathtaking. Saw multiple deer around house/property. Our teens enjoyed the firepit, smores, and watching football downstairs. Furniture was comfortable but well-broken in, so you sink in a bit. Beds/bedrooms were comfortable. Sunrises/sunsets were amazing. Had a small issue when fireplace stopped working, but they were very responsive and were at the cabin first thing next morning. We chose this cabin because it was handicap accessible. My wife has mobility issues and is confined to a walker and wheelchair. It was great not to worry about stairs at the entry and having the extra driveway on the side of the house. We were able to get her downstairs by using it to drive her around (using 4wd) to enter the downstairs from the outside. And while there is a little plastic bar in the tubs/showers, there are no metal bars/handles, walk-in showers, or other accessibility resources. The toilets are also low to the ground and required another person to assist her getting on and off. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Very private location. The views are outstanding. Often above the clouds. Property is well maintained. Main levels furniture has seen a lot of use and is apparently designed for someone of Billy Barty’s stature. South facing windows on main floor could use some means of screening the very bright afternoon sunlight. The one lane private driveway has few places that one can comfotably pass another oncoming vehicle. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed the big beautiful cabin with plenty of room for a large family group. The view from the outdoor deck and swing was amazing. It does require a curvy drive up on an unpaved road, but overall a great stay.

We enjoyed our visit to the Hayesville during the long 4th of July weekend. Each evening, we could see fireworks from the deck. Loved the swing with the perfect lake and mountain views although it was very hot during our visit. The AC worked great. Bedding, towels, mattresses were all comfortable. There is only one bedroom on the main floor so stairs are required to get to the loft bedroom (no privacy door) or the basement bedroom. Bathrooms were clean. The house was well stocked. We enjoyed the puzzles although one was missing a piece! There are lots of various games and the internet worked great. My only complaint was the extremely leaky coffee pot which I did report to management and being woken up early by loud woodpeckers pecking on the house!

Great view from a very nice cabin in the mountains. Nice clean place with decent internet and TV. The host was very nice and provided great instructions on how to enjoy the cabin and surrounding places of interest. Very nice fire pit. Even though the weather was dreary we had a great time in the cabin.
