Heavenly Hideaway is located near Jasper in the south's premiere golf club community of Big Canoe, offering guests access to exclusive amenities like miles of hiking trails, a championship golf course, tennis/pickleball/bocce courts, swimming pools, a marina with pontoon boat rentals, and 3 splashy lakes for fishing, kayaking, and boating. That is just the beginning! Play racquetball, soak in the hot tub, work out in the fitness center, or unwind in the steamy sauna. Enjoy meals at exclusive restaurants, gaze at beautiful lake views from the multimillion-dollar clubhouse, and snap selfies by the waterfalls. While some community amenities in Big Canoe are free, others may require an onsite fee — please note this is not included in the rental price. Please visit the Big Canoe website for more information.

To ensure access to the Big Canoe community, it is essential to provide the names of all guests to the Guest Service and Local management team no later than 48 hours before your arrival.

Nicknamed The First Mountain City, Jasper is located 50 miles north of Atlanta, Georgia. It is also known as the Marble Capital of Georgia. Especially unique is the pink marble as seen at the historic Tate House. The city's small-town atmosphere lends itself to a friendly, mountain experience with good local restaurants, such as the Woodbridge Inn where Chef Hans Rueffert prepares a daily delight of signature dishes. Taste the local wines of Sharp Mountain Vineyards, golf the links at Big Canoe or Bent Tree, and explore the area's Cherokee heritage. Just a short drive from Jasper is the town of Talking Rock where you will find antique shops, a historic schoolhouse museum and artists' displays. Endless opportunities are available for you to explore the stunning North Georgia Mountains during your stay!

Check-in was simple, the house was easy to find at night with Google Maps, and the code worked without issue. Roads getting in are curvy but manageable if you take your time. The property is quiet, secluded, and well laid out with a welcoming feel. The screened-in porch and fenced areas were perfect for the dogs. Wi-Fi was quick to set up, and the TV already had streaming apps ready to go.The host was very responsive and easy to work with. Coffee was well stocked, including a Keurig, and firewood was available (though not needed in August). The portable AC upstairs is a bit noisy, but the mountain weather was so nice we didn’t need it.Overall, this was a peaceful and well-equipped place to stay. I appreciated how smoothly everything worked. I’d definitely recommend it and plan to come back.

The cabin was super cute and well stocked. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. The only complaint we had was a musty smell that bothered our allergies. The cabin was clean, but probably had just been closed up and needed fresh air. We took allergy meds and that helped. Thanks for allowing a late check out and checking in on us daily.

My new favorite getaway in the Ga mountains! I’m a big fan of Big Canoe and stay there often to be near my grandkids. This “heavenly” escape is exactly that - heavenly! Cozy, extremely well appointed, beautifully decorated and situated in the most peaceful place you can imagine. Do not hesitate! This place is large enough for family and small enough to feel at home and together.

My family and I spent 3 wonderful nights at Heavenly Hideaway! It was a much needed break after a very stressful 2 weeks of dealing with hurricanes at home in Florida. Everything about the house was exactly as you see in the pictures…it was perfection and what we envisioned a mountain escape to be. Thank you so much! Kids are already asking if we can return this summer.

The inside of the house was clean and organized. No complaints. The outside of the property was not. I will leave it at that. The drive up the mountain was like a thrill ride at Universal. Last time at Big Canoe we stayed in a condo in the 400 section that was perfect. Despite liking the house I would not book again as the ride is vomit worthy. (my passengers can testify) We had a small snafu at check in but it was handled professionally by the staff. Love Big Canoe and will return.

Our stay at Heavenly Hideaway was so enjoyable! The house was clean, beautifully decorated and well supplied, and the setting is just gorgeous. We had no shortage of fun family activities available to us within the resort community. We enjoyed hiking to some pretty impressive waterfalls right within the community. Our day of swimming, boating, and using the natural rock slide at the beach club was a highlight. I recommend reaching out to the property managers ahead of your arrival for more details about using the community amenities to help you budget and plan out your days activities for your stay. There are so many things to do; truly something for everyone. We also visited Amicalola Falls State Park during our stay. It was an easy and beautiful drive. We look forward to our next stay, and will certainly recommend this location to friends!
