Easy access and an incredible experience. The cabin was spotless and so inviting. If you are planning a stay near Cripple Creek this is THE spot to be.

Property itself was wonderful. Secluded and homey. Dishwasher doesn't work super well and some of the cookware was a little dirty upon arrival. Overall wonderful experience and would recommend!

If you are looking for a relaxing home with privacy this is definitely the place!! I highly recommend.

Hosts were very communicative and allowed us to have a great time at their cabin. The location is perfect and can get to most places in 30 minutes to have outdoor fun. Most peaks and hiking outings is 1 hour away, very doable. The cabin itself is amazing and had all the essentials and more. This cabin can accommodate two families, enough room and beds. A highly recommended place for vacation.

We had a wonderful stay and the cabin was very warm and welcoming! The kitchen was well appointed with everything needed, and the bedrooms were all very nice . The owner was responsive to any questions we had. Check in/out was seamless. The proximity to attractions was good, just a short drive to several things. It was great having a real fireplace to add to the ambiance of the large rustic living room! The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars across the board for us is the fact CR1 is about 100 yards away and it can get a little noisy. It didn’t really affect our stay being in October, but I just wanted to let future travelers know. That said I’d recommend staying there! Another note the colors were still amazing in the area into October!

Clean, beautiful log home in a spectacular setting.

The cabin was great. However, it was located right next to a road with constant loud traffic. This was not disclosed in the description.The traffic noise spoiled our expectation of what we thought would be an isolated, quiet location as was depicted in the photos of the location.

This was our second time staying here. Both experiences were excellent. Perfect spot to come home to after a day trip to the Royal Gorge or any other day trip. It is even more beautiful than pictured. We loved being out of the hustle and bustle of Colorado Springs. Whether we were sharing morning on the small porch off of the living room or sharing a meal on the bigger deck, we felt at home. The hosts were great to work with and I would recommend staying here to anyone!

We had such an incredible time here! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner after long days of adventuring. The owners were extremely kind and helpful when we had questions. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is perfect and very spacious and comfortable. We loved this as a home base for our adventures in Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Cripple Creek and Guffey. We loved having so many fans in the house and enjoyed the fire pit outside almost nightly.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very nice as advertised. The hosts were easy to communicate with and accessible. Would stay here again.

Todd was able to accommodate us last minute when we came into town a day early, which was so generous! The cabin is authentic and well crafted! We loved the homey feeling and it had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the master on the first floor with the French doors. The only thing we would change if we could was the road noise.

Just what the doctor ordered for a quiet weekend away. The kitchen had everything we needed and the cabin was very clean. We hope to come back soon with our kiddos!

Perfect house for our family of 5. House was clean and well equipped. Was nice to have firewood provided as well.

Everything was perfect. Side note, if its snowing you will need 4wheel drive to get in and out of drive.

What an Amazing Cabin!!We had really good communication with Todd and Gina before We came out because We concerned about the weather so We extended Our stay.It worked great because there was record breaking snow while We were there.What and Amazing and Comfortable House!We had everything that We needed and The house had all that We needed,the Kitchen was fully stocked and cleaned.We had wood for the fireplace and nice comfortable furniture and blankets.We Truly enjoyed a Great Anniversary!We are thankful to Todd and Gina for the care that they have for their guests,They really give You a Great Caring Experience!

This property is a winner every time we visit!

A very nice, well-appointed mountain home set in the woods on a private road. More amenities than we could possible use. Pet friendly Close to Cripple Creek, and a nice little store just down the road for last minute items. Bring a flashlight because it is dark, dark, dark at night if you are letting the dog out. I'd re-book this property.

This cabin is awesome. Clean - cozy - easy to find. Weather was beautiful and this cabin is so welcoming. We felt right at home. I recommend this VRBO cabin to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Everything we needed, well furnished w/comfortable beds, lots of fun things to do in the vicinity!

Loved our stay and the access to so many interesting places to explore. House was well appointed and comfortable with good water pressure and screens on the windows so we could open the house in the afternoon. Loved the coffee maker options since some like brewed and others pods. Small grocer nearby in the ACE hardware building had everything we needed.

This property was everything we could ask for and even more than we expected. We loved the coziness and relaxing atmosphere of this cabin. Very clean, well stocked and comfortable. People questioned the lack of air conditioning, but there was no need for it. The cabin stayed cool and the ceiling fans provided circulation of air. We loved that we could be at many attractions in less than an hour, but come home to the quiet of the cabin. We enjoyed fires outside and many meals together on the decks. Coffee on the smaller deck in the morning while watching the hummingbirds was a great way to start our days. There was plenty of room for our dog outside the cabin and the gated deck was a plus as well. As you can see, we loved our time here. Would love to return! Thanks to our hosts and all they did to make our time in Colorado so special.

Amazing

This cabin was the best decision ever! My family absolutely loved it. It is in a great location, it is very clean and cozy, well stocked and was exactly as pictured on the listing. It was perfectly situated in between Colorado Springs and Canon City, where we ventured to in order to mark some adventures off our list. We traveled into Cripple Creek several times just to explore, and it is such a cute little town. Plenty to do, with plenty wildlife to see. Next time we plan a trip back to this area, this is the place we will check first for a return stay.
