Harts Landing - A cozy forest getaway for friends & family at Stag Leap Cabins!

Harts Landing is a two-bedroom/two-bath cabin hidden at the bottom of a hill just above the Bonaldo Creek. It's perfect for families or couples who want a private bedroom and bath. Due to its extra storage and space, it's also an excellent cabin for extended stays.

The main room is an open-concept living area and kitchen with a built-in daybed for additional sleeping. A leather reclining sofa, oversized occasional chair, and dining table with chairs provide ample seating for relaxing,visiting, and game-playing. A large smart TV provides our guests with additional entertainment options. This room's pine wood floors add a natural, rustic appeal, and all the windows allow our guests to enjoy the beautiful East Texas forest in the comfort of the indoors.

Unique granite countertops offer the perfect backdrop for preparing a tasty meal or snack in the kitchen. This area is equipped with an efficiency-sized stove/oven, a microwave, a standard coffee pot, cookware, and dinnerware. A small nook off the side of the kitchen leads to a refrigerator/freezer, a toaster, and the entrance to the master suite.

The master suite has a king bed, a Jacuzzi tub, a large vanity, and a private toilet room. A unique palladium window above the bed and a sliding glass door beckons nature inside this luxurious space. Black-out curtains can be pulled to ensure a restful night's sleep.

Off the master suite is a private deck with chairs and a small table. It's the perfect place to listen to morning songbirds with a cup of coffee or reminisce as romantic moonbeams filter through the trees.

The second bedroom has a beautiful queen-size poster bed and a small desk. This room also has a closet and a private bathroom with a shower and additional storage.

A covered porch with patio furniture and an extended wood deck with a picnic table and grill provide guests with plenty of outside seating for dining, visiting, and enjoying the natural setting. A fire pit and hammock are also available for soaking in the great outdoors, and just down the hill from the cabin is a beautiful, spring-fed creek for exploring and nature-watching.

Central heat/air regulates the temperature. Ceiling fans and portable fans are also provided for your increased comfort.

This cabin is close to the shared property hot tub, which can be reserved for private use in one-hour increments.

***IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS CABIN & OUR PROPERTY***

The hot tub, laundry room, and activity field are shared amenities. The hot tub is not too far from this cabin and can be accessed by a fairly short walk, but as noted above, this cabin does have an indoor jacuzzi tub. The hot tub may be reserved for an hour of private use; however, you do not have to reserve it to use it. All other amenities are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This cabin has a NO PETS & NO SMOKING/VAPING policy. Smoking is only allowed outside the cabin, away from open doors and windows. Extra fees will be charged if we determine smoking has occurred inside the cabin.
