Gorgeous New 2BR Family Beach Retreat with Paddle Boat

We had a wonderful weekend at Ripley Retreat! The cabin is adorable - updated, clean, comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The view of the lake is beautiful especially at sunset with the fall foliage. Our dogs had the best time playing in the crystal clear water and on the sandy beach. Paul was great to rent from - friendly and quick communication. We hope to be back soon! Thank you!

The place was beautiful. We had a great time. The views and private beach was amazing. Our dogs loved the beach and playing in the water. The owners were so nice and easy to communicate with. They have literally thought of everything. Unfortunately we had some pretty cold weather but even so we made the best of it. We would definitely love to come back next summer.

This cabin was exactly as expected from the listing. It is clean, even being located ON the beach the floors looked brand new. It turned out we overpacked - almost everything we needed was available to us there, making our stay comfortable and easy. The lake is beautiful and great for swimming. It is pretty shallow near the beach so my kids had a ton of space to play safely. We will return!

We had a great time at the cabin. The kitchen was fully stocked and Paul was very easy to communicate with.

We had another great stay this year. My 5 year old was able to catch over 100 fish from the pier in the week we spent. Paul is extremely responsive and flexible. Thank you!

Wow! This place was perfect for our family of 3. The beach was just as beautiful as the pictures show. The owners have thought of everything, from toiletries to a fully-stocked kitchen to extra bedding to outdoor furniture and games. We rented the pontoon for an extra fee (less for 5 days than we would have paid elsewhere for 5 hours!). There is a pond behind the cabin that I was afraid would mean lots of misquitos. I was wrong. I did not see a single misquito on 5 days. I would certainly go back!

2nd time staying here. We absolutely love it. Great for our small kids and dog.

Perfect size, beautiful picturesque spot on icy lake . Wonderfully equipped kitchen, immaculately clean. Loved our time there and can’t think of a better place to prepare for the race or enjoy after!

We had another great stay. Love coming here for a little ice fishing with the kids and to just getaway. The house is always clean and the owners are so nice and quick to respond. Thank you again for a great weekend!

We and our Labrador Retriever Jake stayed 9 evenings and throughly enjoyed this home. Every window at the back of the cabin showcases a view of the serene lake, from the dining room to the living room to the primary bedroom. We relaxed and even worked a few days given the fiber-optic internet. The sandy beach is perfect for lounging and mere steps from the beautifully clear lake where you can see the bottom. The kitchen is terrifically outfitted for cooking. Within 15 minutes, the location has access to incredible day-hiking trails and a distillery we visited more than once. This place was wonderful in all aspects very close to the water clean sandy beach and the kids caught about every fish in the lake just off the dock Very clean and cozy place to stay would love to do it again next year for sure

Phenomenal property that would be hard to find an equal. From the proximity to the water to beautiful interior, everything you would want can be found here. Can’t wait to find time to return!

Perfect family summer getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Ripley retreat. My boys (7 and 4) were in the sand from sun up to sun down. The additional pontoon rental was great.

What a great little spot on a private lake with your own piece of beach to enjoy!!!!! Owners were great and had everything you'd need already at the cabin.

The cabin and property was wonderful. Our weather did not cooperate as much as we would of liked but even in the rain we enjoyed the cabin stay and had a couple of days of beach time swimming and playing in the lake and lounging on the beach. We were able to do a lot of fishing and had a great time on the lake fishing, watching eagles in their nesting area and also a family of loons. Beautiful lake and area. Enjoyed every moment.

We had a great time fishing and relaxing. The place was very nice. The boat was perfect. We had an awesome week.

Took grandson’s fishing for a week. Great small lake to catch bass and pike. Cabin was a nice size for the 4 of us. Paul was great to work with. Loved the bakery, coffee shop, and bait shops in Spooner. Spooner has a nice grocery store. Practiced baseball in Shell Lake. Watched movies at night on Netflix.

Very comfortable cabin with everything that we needed. Perfect for our family to relax and a nice lake to enjoy. Our host responded to every question. Thank you for sharing!
