Stayed Oct 13, 2024Wonderful retreat, used this as a base to explore three National Parks. Loved being off grid and in the wilderness. Our host was friendly and welcoming and very easy to communicate with too.

Stayed May 6, 2022I have read some of the previous reviews and saw that many used the word wonderful. I can think of no better word. The peace, the quiet, the serenity was literally beyond words. It is the kind of place you can escape the noise and clamor of the city. We enjoyed waking to the chattering birds and eating breakfast as we watched the rabbits scurry about for their morning foraging. We even spent most of one day just walking around the property and reading. The most astonishing part for us was to wake about 3 in the morning and look out at the stars. Living most of my life surrounded by street lights and houses that ward off the night by leaving their porch and garage lights on, I was mesmerized by the night sky and the tranquility we found there. It was a joy each evening to return this little cabin on the hillock. The only negative thing I can say about it is that our time was limited and we had to leave.

Stayed May 21, 2021Very pleasant off grid cabin. Great kitchen and we heated water for showers using a battery powered pump. Fun to try out solar lighting and phone chargers. Easy drive to North Grand Canyon for the day.

Stayed Dec 30, 2020If you are looking for an experience visit, this is a great place for you. It’s in the middle of nowhere and at the same time close enough from nearby town if needed. Kaitlin is a great host. She keeps the place super clean and it’s easy to reach out to her if you need help. Things to consider would be to keep some portable chargers if you need phone. However, the main point of going for this glamping is to lose reception and gain perspective. Also AT&T works here.

Stayed Nov 5, 2019Phenomenal experience. Great place in a beautiful location. The cabin exudes character and has all of the amenities you could ask for. Thoughtful, kind hosts who made sure we found our way and ensured we had everything we needed, from solar powered chargers, kindling, supplemental provisions, and even a stove fire waiting for us. Highly recommend it and definitely will return if they’ll have us.

Stayed Sep 12, 2019This is an amazing place. Beautiful and secluded. Every single detail to make for a perfect stay is attended to. Solar lighting and water makes it all modern and rustic at the same time. I could happily stay there forever and forget the busy world.

Stayed Nov 1, 2025This is rustic but that is ok, the description fits the accommodations. We do a lot of overlanding so this wasn’t a big deal to us at all though it might seem like more work to people that are used to a 5star hotel. We had a slight issue with plumbing when we checked in on Saturday and Kaitlyn had the plumber out first thing Monday morning. Her communication was great throughout the whole stay. It was quiet and peaceful and a great location for anyone wanting to explore either the north rim or southern Utah. OurDogs were happy and we enjoyed it a lot! We will be back.

Stayed Oct 4, 2025Place was really comfortable and was pretty straightforward as an off-grid cabin. So much better than camping and more isolated than a hotel. Perfect place to chill after a day of exploring the area.

Stayed May 25, 2025The property was exactly as described... off the grid, yet comfortable, and very peaceful. Kaitlin was an awesome host, with continued communication from pre-arrival to check-out. Highly recommended to disconnect from this crazy world and get back to basics.

Stayed May 15, 2025This is glamping well done, though you have to drive dirt roads to find this place. It is clean and beautifully decorated, complete with water pump on patio, water filtering system in the kitchen, composting toilet, electric refrigerator and battery operated lights. The owner is attentive, friendly and guided us through the house so we knew how to work it all. complete with games too!!

Stayed Mar 24, 2025The online listing is fairly misleading, since they put the location in the middle of a town even though it’s actually 11 miles out of town down terrible roads. I will say that it is listed in the property description that they do say in the description that the property is out of town, three of us looked at this property and didn’t catch that. The roads to get out there are pretty terrible, even in a capable vehicle. Also, there is no running water or electricity, so don’t book if you’re expecting that. Bathroom situation is also quite weird.Cabin itself is well maintained and comfortable, but this is not a place to stay if you are road tripping to the nearby National Parks.Hosts are very friendly

Stayed Dec 22, 2024Cute cabin, well appointed and great for a relaxing get away from the city. It's definitely glamping- pump your own water, no internet, TV, etc. but an adorable cabin with everything we needed to be comfy and unplug for a while. Close enough to Kanab for supplies, Bryce, North Rim of Grand Canyon and hiking trails to do fun day trips, and still come back to quiet and no distractions. It helped that we brought a cabover camper when we did want to microwave popcorn or to charge some of our AC devices (drone, laptops). The cabin does have solar that powers the lights and fridge and that you can use to charge your phone, etc. but no AC outlets.

Stayed Oct 24, 2024My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at White Sage Solitude, such a fitting name! It is both rustic and quaint, exactly what we were hoping for. Our host, Kaitlin, met us at check in to go over the workings of the off-grid cabin. She was a delight, made sure we had everything we needed and offered up some local places to explore. The cabin was the perfect base camp for our outings to National Parks, including the North Rim and Zion, as well as some lesser known spots. Our last two days temps dropped significantly, the little wood stove kept us exceptionally warm and cozy. This was one of our favorite trips together and we look forward to returning one day. Thank you for your hospitality, Kaitlin!
