Nestled under a pine forest, Camp KaRuGa is a campground with tiny cabins and tent sites located 1 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway and the New River. Beautiful creek side campsites and primitive cabins each with its own picnic table and fire pit with cooking grill.
Camp Karuga offers 2 fully equipped shower houses with hot/cold water, electricity and charging stations. The Family bath house is also hanidicap accessible.

Stayed Jul 5, 2024We arrived and found out that Gavin Cabin had no electricity and no running water. In order to use the bathroom you had to go to a community one. I did not read anything telling me that it was a primitive cabin. We were not very happy when we had to find another place to stay for the night
