Stayed Jun 18, 2020The cabin was clean and really only a two person cabin at most. The incredibly steep staircase to the loft is sketchy, and the headroom in the loft dictates that a 9 year old or less sleeps up there. The cabins are not nestled in the woods, but on an open piece of land next to an airport and in an industrial area just off the highway. It was a pricey cabin given there are so many other cabins on the way up the hillside to be rented. fyi

Stayed May 23, 2026Cabin was perfect for what we were looking for- a great landing zone for hiking and exploring the area. Lots of towels, nice bathroom, and some bathroom amenities were provided which were very nice. Community grill & fire pit were right outside and amazing to have. Don’t forget to bring oil & spices if you plan on cooking. Loft is short so tall friends may not love ducking around in it, but nice to have extra beds & space.

Stayed Aug 8, 2025Cabin was perfect for a short getaway. Everything we needed as we spent most of our time hiking, so just needed a home base to sleep and relax. Was greeted upon arrival to make sure we got in ok. Very nice people. The only drawback of this place is you share the grounds with RV/Permanent Campers, but they were not a disturbance at all. Just wish that was a bit more upfront when booking. Otherwise great place and close proximity to everything we wanted to do.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025We stayed for about a week. The place was clean/comfortable and it is a nice central location for Mt. Rushmore/Custer State Park/Wind Cave. Hidden gem is the Mammoth Site in Hot Springs. Cabin did not have enough pots and pans though we didn’t think to ask owner for some. He was a really nice guy. Photos are accurate. If you’re going to sit out a lot you may look for a place with a few more trees.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025This cozy little cabin was perfect for 4 adults and 2 teenagers! Its centrally located, clean, very affordable and the hosts were very friendly and made sure you had every thing we needed and even followed up to make sure the stay was going well! The loft is not tall so if you are an adult and tall stay on your knees! Lol!!!Great for the kiddos though!

Stayed Jun 7, 2025Cabin was nice and clean! Paul and Tiffany were super responsive to any needs. Beds were good, but would have loved fluffier pillows. We had hoped for a little more green space. Overall worked well for our family.

Stayed Sep 22, 2024It is a simple cabin with a modern interior and very clean with all the amenities we needed. The host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It was located nicely to all the places we wanted to go. We were only 2, so we did not use the loft which had low ceiling and sort of half steps up.
