Fox Creek cabin in the woods

Not ready for primetime. Could be really nice, just isn't. Kitchen is nice. The bad: Bathroom- very dim lighting and no cover for window. Shower with curtain all around is awkward. Bed is terrible. Leans to the middle. Light switch is hard to use in the dark. Small rodents crawling around in walls or ceiling during the night. Stairs are thin, don't think anything could be done about that, just a warning is needed. Living room. Uncomfortable couch. Front door window has no cover so blinding sun in the afternoon. Weeds outside as high or higher than the raised patio.. I'm sorry to be so negative but I expect more from a Vaca Rental than a motel. It had great reviews, somehow, but two of the three before my visit were negative on the same issues. If I'd have seen those reviews, I never would have booked this. Maybe this would suffice for rugged outdoor types who just need a roof over their head, but anyone else, stay away until upgrades are made. We stayed in 12 different places on the road trip, this was supposed to be a treat, it was the worst place we stayed.

The cabin was in a beautiful location, well appointed kitchen and owner communication was excellent!! I do not recommend this property for older folks. The stairs were steep and handrail thick this hard to grip. Loft space was very tight …

Cozy cabin in a beautiful location.

We loved that this cabin was small and in the woods. It was easy to access but was in the woods. It is perfect for 2 people. The stairs to the loft bedroom is a little steep but the stairs are very secure and are manageable without any issues.

Host was great! Cabin had everything we needed for our 6 night stay. Great place for 2-3 people.

Was the perfect little cabin get away we were looking for. Quite and relaxing, it snowed quite a bit while we were they but they kept the road up to the cabin open and clear for us.

Absolutely lovely cabin in the woods. We’ve stayed here twice and hope that we can return a few more times. 4WD is highly recommended for getting up the driveway . Cabin is beautiful, private, and comfortable.

The cabin was cozy, the kitchen was nice and had everything needed, and the host was very responsive. We loved the location and the trail right off the cabin down ro the creek. The dogs loved running in the woods.

We had a great time here! The cabin was a great location to trails and parks and we love how secluded we felt in it. The only issue we had is there were so many flies which usually we don’t mind a few but we couldn’t even open most of the windows since the flies would somehow get in through the screen cover. Made the cabin pretty stuffy at nights. Overall we enjoyed our stay and this was our only slight complaint! Great place to stay for seclusion and a peaceful few days!

Cozy cabin within perfect distance from the Tetons. The cabin has the absolute basics, but we had an amazing time with our pups. My fiancé and I did need to sleep in separate beds because the upstairs bed does sag in the middle, but that would be our only minor complaint. This cabin had everything we needed for a fall getaway to the mountains. We will definitely be back!

Quaint little cabin nestled amongst the woods. Nice view of the mountains and close to Driggs and Victor as well as lots of hiking opportunities. I highly recommend this if your looking for peace and quiet, yet close to modern conveniences.

Very near two national parks and was a beautiful area to stay in! Stairs to the loft were quite steep and the loft bed sank in the middle, but otherwise it was nice. Wish there had been some privacy film on the bathroom window.

This property was just as advertised! Perfect for two people (my brother and I). My only wish is that we had more of a view from the porch but that would involve cutting down trees. This is such a beautiful area in Idaho. The drive to Grand Teton goes through a beautiful mountain pass! I will definitely visit this area again!

Lovely cabin, kitchen perfect, decking lovely, living area great only thing I would change is the bed upstairs, needs to be bigger. Checking was disastrous, never got email from host about checking in, so cost me over 18 in phone calls to contact them through Vrbo.

Such an amazing spot! Cozy, secure, equipped, and central to everything. Both town wise and outdoors. The cabin is just far enough out of town that you still get that isolated private feel, while being within 10 minutes of both Driggs and Victor. And roughly 35-45mins from Jackson Hole, hour 20 from Jenny Lake. The deck is a fantastic spot to lounge and the ‘yard’ is a great safe spot for the dogs to lounge and prowl as well! Overall just a fantastic, clean, accessible, and safe place to stay if you’re looking to visit Idaho/ Wyoming.

Cute, quaint little cabin. Really needs window coverings. If you're wanting to sleep in or have any privacy then this is not the place for you. Shower is quaint but not very user friendly. Had a nice stay and is in a beautiful setting. Thank you.

My family and I stayed at the cabin this past weekend and unfortunately we needed to leave a day early due to the fact that the pull out couch/bed had a leak in it (blow up mattress). With 2 adults and one child, we couldn’t make it work with only one bed. Cabin was fine but towels could be replaced as they seemed to be years old. Probably best for 1-2 people, max.

Place was clean, check in was simple, the kitchen area was great and the area beautiful.

My husband and I stayed for several days. We went to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Spent most of our time in Jackson Hole. Overall a good stay.

This cabin is for one person or a small group. If you like solitude and being remote, then this is the place for you. Even though it’s tucked away in the foothills, it’s only a 10-15 min ride into town with a wonderful grocery store. Jackson Hole is 45 mins away, but I stayed most of the time in the cabin, on the outside deck, or walking around the beautiful property sitting on 10 acres with a creek! My two dogs loved it! It took me 3 days to get there from Louisiana, but I will make the trip again…it was better than advertised.

The property manager was awesome. Refunded our money. Unfortunately it had a pretty big impact on our weekend plans. We ended up booking a much more expensive place. Grateful for the communication. Not sure where things went sideways on property upkeep.

Had a great time spending 3 nights here for Spring Break! Although the weather was definitely more winter than spring, but that was to be expected! The cabin was very cozy and clean, and Ash was perfectly helpful with the check in process, which went very smoothly. We did some snowshoeing nearby at Grand Teton National Park, and when we woke up the next day there was a herd of deer right outside the cabin! Great place! Highly recommend!

This cabin is tiny but the location can't be beat. It's 10 minutes from Victor nestled in the beautiful trees of the foothills. It is perfect for a couple or parents with two small kids. The pull out couch is a small full size. The kitchen is well equipped. The cabin is truly remote, with no other cabins in sight. The road in the winter requires awd/4wd and good tires.

Incredibly beautiful location, the owners were very kind and very responsive to communication, and the place itself was perfect. Can not recommend more to couples or small groups wanting to get away! Snow shoes are very helpful for exploring the property in the snowy months.

We had a great stay at Alexander Cabin! The host sent us check-in instructions/directions well in advance of our stay which allowed for a smooth check-in. The location of the cabin is tucked away in a back corner of a neighborhood out of sight of neighbors. The propane grill worked well and was a highlight of the stay. The only thing to note is that the bedroom is located in a loft which is accessed by a steep set of stairs. We had a great stay and would highly recommend the cabin to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful area and home very clean, with nice decor etc area remote but close enough to town to run in/out. Unfortunately, we would not stay again due to somethings needing upgraded. The bed being very uncomfortable, and a dip where you roll into the middle. No blinds on top window or front door if you wanted to relax and sleep in. Bathroom light so dim you can’t see anything. Couch needs replaced for better comfort to sit and relax. Weeds so high around deck/steps you didn’t want to sit outside for the bugs and overall enjoyment as you couldn’t even walk around the cabin at all. Lane could use a trim as weeds/tree limbs scrap your vehicle. We knew this was a remote little spot but yard area and road just way overgrown! We had absolutely no issues with owners, very quiet and peaceful with a nice view. Few upgrades and we would def be back!
