We expected the house to be cute and cozy and clean with all the good reviews and photos. But it honestly exceeded those expectations. We have stayed at a LOT of rentals all over the county, and hands down this is one of the nicest. The hot tub is bigger than the one pictured (newer as of 12/23). The kitchen is well stocked and even has some nice basics in the fridge and spice cabinet (definitely check before you hit the grocery). The bed is super comfy. The towels are good quality and large and colored (white makes me nervous!) but also a supply of towels marked “old” to use for spills, makeup, muddy paws etc) is genius! The property is lovely and has lots of trails to hike and explore safely. The cows are adorable. Being able to bring our dogs is a must and this cabin suited them well. It’s always nice when a host is realistic about dogs being in bed and on furniture and just asks you to provide your own linens (we did gladly!) so they could sleep with us. Janet is very hospitable. The house binder is a great read when you arrive and the binder of menus is inspiration for great meals out. We highly recommend this cabin and look forward to staying again.
Clean and good location
Heavenly Hideaway was just what we needed to relax and rejuvenate. Every detail allowed us to enjoy our time together and recharge from our busy lives. We spent every evening cuddled up in front of the fireplace, and In the morning and evenings I was able to relax in the hot tub enjoying the seclusion and nature sounds which brought me peace. We also enjoyed our peaceful time on the back porch reading or talking to one another. It was truly rejuvenating. Thank you
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Heavenly Hideaway cabin for a few days to fit in a small vacation before the year's end. We thoroughly enjoyed the quaintness of the cabin, from the deck overlooking the quiet woods, to the fireplace (so cozy!), and to the hot tub where we stargazed at night. We more so cook our meals at home, so if you are like us, you will be pleased to know that the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and gadgets to use. We made good use of the firepit outside to roast some s'mores and just enjoy each other's company. While we did not have the chance to meet Janet in person and chat, she was always available by phone call or text if we ever needed anything. From just one call with her, I had the impression she was kind, considerate, and welcoming to guests on the property. If we are ever vacationing in Asheville again, we will definitely be booking at this location. Thank you so much for having us!
Excellent communication from property management, good location, very clean, highly recommend and would book again in the future! Beautiful property with plenty to do without driving anywhere
This place is amazing. So quiet and cozy. Janet was a great host. There were so many helpful notes. The cabin was cozy and we enjoyed nights inside with a fire our outside with a fire. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. We had everything we needed.
This property was perfect. Extremely quiet and very clean. Owner met us right after we got there and told us about the property. Lots of things to do in the area and not a long drive to get there. Would of loved to use the hot tub but rained when we were planning on using it. But sitting on the back deck in the morning and night was perfect especially the only sound ma you heard were birds, dogs and roosters. Very relaxing. Will definitely look at going back in the future
Cabin was excellent and felt very secluded from the rest of the farm. Just a great getaway for two adults needing some downtime. It was nice being on the farm but still within minutes of Asheville and other small towns. Janet was a great host to work with.
This is excellent for anyone wanting to be relatively close to the city but still have a quite place to stay. House was great for 2 people and everything about the home was in great condition.
This property was very clean and super secluded which was perfect for a romantic weekend away. The farm was beautiful and honestly I can't wait to go back!
I loved the cabin it was clean and very comfortable. The farm around it was so beautiful and I loved walking around visiting the farm life. Great location and I felt safe there. I met Janet when I came in and she is so sweet and was helpful throughout the stay. Communication with her was easy and helpful. Will come again!
Had a super time, cabin was lovely. Owner was helpful and informative.
We were in search of a place that would be quiet & relaxing and Heavenly Hideaway definitely fit the bill! Janet is a marvelous host and there were so many unique & thoughtful touches throughout the cabin! And even though the location felt remote (which is not a negative), there were plenty of things to see & do just within 30 minutes or less drive! We took day trips into Asheville, Hendersonville, & Black Mountain and enjoyed the history of the area, spending time in quaint shops, marveling at the beautiful autumn colors, and sampling amazing foods! And a relaxing soak in the hot tub was the perfect way to end each day! Definitely looking forward to coming back again . . . hopefully soon!
Love the place and Ms Janet???
We loved heavenly hideaway. The cabin was more than a cabin it was an experience. We loved feeding the cows and picking blueberries. It was a peaceful, relaxing stay. We didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed sitting on the porch at night watching wildlife and the view of the woods. Location is on 15 minutes from Asheville and still remote enough to have the best of both worlds.
