One of my favorite reviews this season;
Jennifer,
Thanks again for let us stay at your cabin during this crazy, COVID summer. What a treat. We were looking for a road trip get away with the family, and Montana sure did the trick. Your cabin (Yellowstone River Cabin #4) was perfect for our family of four. The bedrooms are nice and spacious. We loved the cozy king-sized bed, and the kids loved that they got to sleep in their own big beds and didn’t mind sharing a room (which is a good thing with a teenaged boy and tween girl)!

You’ve decorated the cabin perfectly for those wanting a true Montana/Yellowstone experience. And your collection of stories and articles about the Yellowstone Park and its history were wonderful to read after spending a day in the Park. We all learned something new! And the book on grizzly bears came in handy, as we were lucky enough to have a grizzly visitor every night in front of the cabin!!! Before you freak out, he never came near the cabins, he was across the way on the island in the middle of the river. Thankfully, he was focused on dining on the elk carcass in front of him, and not the spectators across the river. I snapped this photo of Henry down at the river’s edge before I made him come back up the bank…he was too close; I would not recommend doing that!! But again, what a treat for all of us staying in the Yellowstone River Cabins, we made it an evening ritual before dusk with folks in the other cabins to watch the bear over a glass of wine. A fun way to meet people from all over who were coming out to Montana for the same experiences as we were. We all compared notes from our daily adventures and animal sightings.

The cabin is in such a great spot. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the Yellowstone River from your back porch (love the chairs!), and access to Gardiner and the YNP entrance was extremely easy. Gardiner is such a cute little town, we walked into all the shops, and even ate out for a couple of meals during COVID – I would recommend the Wonderland Café and Yellowstone Grill for breakfast/lunch. We didn’t eat out for dinner at all because we didn’t want to miss the bear siting! J Unfortunately, the day before we left there was a big fire in Gardiner and a couple of the businesses we had popped into earlier that day were burned. I had just taken this photo of Kelly that day in front of the Blue Goose Saloon. So sad to see those historic buildings destroyed.

We can’t express enough how much we enjoyed our trip and our time at your cabin. It had all the comforts of home, but it wasn’t home, which is exactly what we were looking for! We will definitely be back – but hopefully with a siting of you - and your kids! For me that was all that was missing with my Montana trip.

They say a picture paints a thousand words, but in this case, it does it an injustice. A piece of paradise right outside from downtown Gardiner!

Absolutely loved this cabin. It had everything we needed and it was decorated so cutely. Beds were comfy. But the best part was seeing an elk herd every day.

This place was amazing! It was perfect and the view of the Yellowstone River from the back patio was gorgeous! As promised, we saw a lot of wildlife. It was clean and comfortable, and it was only about 15 minutes from the entrance to Yellowstone. I would highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Yellowstone! We didn't want to leave!!

This home was super cozy with all the essentials. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. However, our favorite part of the home was the porch overlooking the Yellowstone River. Jennifer was so easy to work with and attentive to all of our needs. We would reccomend this cabin to anyone!

The cabin was comfortable and welcoming! Hearing the river was lovely. We had all we needed there. Beds were very comfortable. It has a cozy and relaxing vibe and great proximity to Yellowstone. We would definitely stay again! The only thing to consider/be aware of when booking is the trash removal. While I understand the need and it didn’t seem like a big deal when booking, we didn’t realize the distance to the trash area and it did take us out of our way when checking out. But, a small consideration as we loved the cabin and our stay was great!

This property had it all—location, wildlife, and a beautiful river setting. The home was incredibly comfortable, and the back porch was the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring Yellowstone. Be sure to bring binoculars—you’ll want them to count the elk on the hillside across the river. The dirt road leading to the Yellowstone entrance was packed with wildlife. The house had everything we needed and was a perfect fit for our group of six. We would definitely come back!

I highly recommend this property. Everything was wonderful - the cabin was clean, had everything you’d need, comfortable beds, but it was really all about the location, location, location. Right on the banks of the Yellowstone River - where my husband caught fish every day - and a short ten minute ride to the northern Yellowstone entrance. Right outside of Gardiner, MT, where there are plenty of restaurants.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. It was clean, beautiful, and had the most amazing Montana feel. Our only complaint was that the coffee maker didn’t work, but we ended up just going to the cowboy up coffee truck each morning at the Sinclair. Everything was perfect, we’d definitely stay again!

Loved the cabin, the privacy, it was immaculate, it has everything you need, all you need is the food to cook and yourself. Easy to communicate, tons of wildlife. Just a heads up, depending on your cell carrier, you might not get any cell service. - I was not prepared for the gravel road travel to get to cabin in all directions. I live on a gravel road in Iowa, and have lived on one for over 40 years. This is not a maintained road however, the washboarding will knock out your alignment if you go fast, or it was when we were there. I just wanted to give a heads up, as I saw a very nice sports car there that was a little dirty when they got there and I imagine wasn’t a smooth ride. One way is almost 5 miles on these conditions, and a little shy of that the other way to get to cabin. It would not deter me from coming again, but I was completely unaware until I showed up, and it adds 20+ minutes to your drive before and after your day . Just a heads up, but the place itself was fantastic!

Cabin 4 is a fully stocked two bedroom cabin located about four miles north of Gardiner on the west side of the Yellowstone River. To our enjoyment we had morning and late afternoon visits from a herd of elk, It was fantastic having morning coffee while watching wildlife right outside on the back porch. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. Note: the road on the west side of the Yellowstone River is a gravel road.

Very nice property and the location is great for going in and out of Yellowstone. The elk that came to visit - literally right at the back porch - were awesome to watch. We have so many videos. Last night 50-60 elk were right on the cabin property. Loved it!

Cabin worked out great. Nice location with beautiful view of Yellowstone River. We watched elk cross the river and saw them daily. My only suggestions are the cabin needed more light and improved instructions for TV.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Fantastic views of the river and we enjoyed watching rafting adventures and people fishing. The cabin is well appointed and decorated with great care and lots of local Montana touches. Bring your own groceries if you can as the local store is very expensive. Easy access to the north gate of Yellowstone, wildlife can also be seen driving to the house! Thanks for a great stay!

Great place, with a lot of wildlife! Very relaxing in the evening on the porch watching the Yellowstone river go by. Walking across the lawn to go fishing. Really enjoyed our time there. The only down side. The TV was very hard to figure out, and there was no blow dryer, when they said one was included. So you couldn't dry your hair before bed. Lesson learned, bring your own blow dryer! Thanks for the great stay!

This Cabin was really nice for the 4 adults. Having bathrooms in each bedroom was great. Kitchen is stocked beyond my expectations. Wildlife right outside your door was extra special. Enjoyed the beautiful Yellowstone River while sitting on the back porch. Only downside was getting rid of garbage at the end of the stay. Was told to take to the landfill but when we got there you have posting that you need county tages or it’s a $250 fine. Just something to be aware of if your stay is long or you do a lot of cooking.

This was a much needed vacation for my kids and I. The last two years have been very difficult since the loss of my oldest daughter. We all really enjoyed the cabin! Check in was easy and smooth. My kids and I felt like we were all at home and very comfortable. It was close for exploring Yellowstone and the cute little town of Gardiner. We even got a little thunder storm and a beautiful full double rainbow right off the back deck. This was such a highlight moment and just more reassurance that our girl, Hailey was there with us. My son Ryan even drew a little Magpie in the guest book and left a message himself. That’s how much they really enjoyed everything about our stay there. I will definitely be back! I can’t thank you enough❤️

This is the 2nd time we've stayed in this cabin. We loved it. Fully stocked with anything needed. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Enough room for a family of 4. Nice porch overlooking the Yellowstone River. About a 4 mile drive on gravel road to the cabin. No problem but you do need a car wash at end of stay. Only problem is trash disposal at end of your stay. Spent too much time trying to find a disposal site. More exact direction to trash disposal would be nice. Other than that, GREAT property.
