'Falling Star' Eagletown Cabin w/ Hot Tub: Pets OK

We had a great time over the Memorial Day weekend with members of our family that live in the area. The cabin is very nice and all essentials were supplied so we cooked all our meals which was nice. The location is very secluded and quiet. Our host Kathy was very friendly and helpful. I hope to return here next trip.

We always enjoy our stay at this cabin! Well furnished and such attention to detail. Such a cozy home away from home! It’s very peaceful! The kids loved the hot tub and roasting marshmallows over a fire! We can’t wait to come back.

I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful cabin. I especially love how secluded and private the property was. My only concern was entering the cabin on the very rocky road. Driving a sedan was very bumpy and if raining maybe undriveable. However, I would return back to cabin. Thank you!

Kathy was a great host and the property was OUTSTANDING. The items in the cabin was well thought and is very clean and in immaculate condition. The Hot Tub was clean and was well maintained and was ready for us by the time we came in. Great place to spend some quality time away from the city and experience the serenity of the woods and wilderness

Perfect getaway for the wife and I. Tucked away as not to be disturbed, but close enough to town if anything is needed. We will go back.

It was a quiet comfortable stay. Was not the cleanest, cob webs, cracked window, bugs everywhere.

The cabin was exactly what it was described to be. We went to the cabin for peace and quiet. The cabin what was exactly what we needed, it was like coming home. Thank you for sharing this beautiful cabin with us.

Loved the stay. The cabin was so clean and had great amenities. Secluded and shaded by tall trees. Hot Tub was great. Everything worked as advertised. Would come back for sure.

We love these little cabins! Such a great value and the perfect place to stay if you are visiting the Mountain Fork river. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need for a weekend getaway and in such a good location. We will definitely be back for another break from the hustle and bustle of city life!

Toss you some cloths and your tooth brush and paste in a bag and head to the Falling Star everything else you need is there waiting on you. This was a great girl cousins trip.Clean….quite….cozy slice of heaven.

This was our second stay and we will continue to book this cabin when we come to the area. The home is always extremely clean and well furnished! The owners go above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They are extremely thoughtful in preparing for our stay! Couldn’t recommend more! We always look forward to coming back!

Falling Star was perfect for what we needed. It was secluded with plenty of space for our kids and dogs to run and play. We had no problems finding the cabin with the directions given. The hot tub was wonderful! The only negative (and really, it wasn’t enough to make us not want to come back) was that the master shower had little to no hot water and was backed up upon first use. I contacted the host and their guest contact but did not receive a response. Again, not a big deal and we would definitely be back but it would’ve been nice to have received a response/help.

This was a beautiful cabin nestled right next to Mountain Fork Park! We were secluded in a cabin look and feel home. Yet, we were not too far away from things to do in town. Hot tub works well! Laundry machines on site. Shelving, fans, and living room tables had thick accumulations of dust. But we don’t care about those things. Everything else was clean and ready for us to enter and start our vacation. Pruett’s grocery store is beautiful and isn’t far from the house. There were deer and beaver seen in the forest and there’s a small hiking trail to see the pond on the property. There are two king size beds, one in each Bedroom. One bedroom has bathroom connected. The other utilizes the hall bathroom. Both areas are very open. We really enjoyed this house. Looking forward to booking again.

This property was exactly as described and more! It was clean, cute, and had so many little extras that made the stay wonderful. I loved the little hand written notes giving extra directions. You can tell the owners take pride in their cabin and want you to have an enjoyable stay! We would highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!
