Faerie House Idyllwild ~ Luxury Art Cabin with SPA ~ Sauna ~ Views

You won’t want to leave! Kate truly is your Faerie Godmother, going out of her way to make guests feel warmly welcomed, looked after, and instantly at home. The whimsy and magick in every corner is done little justice by the listing photos. The cabin is spacious and sprawling, yet cozy and warm. The beds are comfortable and the amenities luxurious and generous. Our eyes were enthralled, our hearts were touched, our souls restored, and our laughter echoed throughout this enchanted home. We left glowing, and looking forward to our next stay!

Where do I begin? The better part of me wants to tell you that this place is amazing but the greedy part of myself doesn’t want to reveal any secrets of this magical place because I want to keep it all to myself! This is a comfy rustic cabin with all modern working amenities! There’s a quaint library where you can read in the sunlight , there’s a tv room with a projector , speakers all over the house, and there are plenty of rooms and beds for guests. The modern artwork and architectural style of this home is worth every penny. The beauty is in the details and you can’t help but to notice them. Outside? A beautiful wooden deck that wraps around with an outdoor shower, fire pits, blinking lights, and a built in Jacuzzi!The host, Kate was personable, very attentive, and made it so pleasant that we will be returning again, again, and AGAIN!!!

Words fail to conjure the beauty and playfulness of Faerie House. Kate was absolutely wonderful from the start. My family decided last minute to escape to the mountains, and Kate was so generous and accommodating. My children loved exploring every unique room, and the expansive decks. Our only regret was we didn’t stay longer. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy the serenity and solitude of Faerie House and make more memories. Thank you Kate!

This place is a HIDDEN GEM. The Faerie House is like walking into a fantasy novel. It’s everything I ever dreamed of and honestly even more. The amenities were amazing, and the spiritual energy of the surrounding forest was so strong and calming. The interior decor is beautiful, everything so well thought out. The master bedroom in the upper loft was obviously my favorite. The large windows make you feel connected to nature even while lounging indoors. There is so much deck space and sooo many areas to relax. It’s really an excellent spot to gather and appreciate the wonders of Idyllwild. Highly recommend the stay if you want something that’s way outside the ordinary.11/10. Will 100% be back.

This property is so gorgeous nestled into the trees. There are so many unique and artistic touches around the home. The pictures accurately portray the quality of the furnishings. Every room was clean and beautiful. I so enjoyed cooking with a fully stocked kitchen. I also found the jacuzzi, sauna, outdoor hammock, and axe throwing activities to be so relaxing and fun. This property is awesome for big groups with so many sleeping options and nice open spaces for convening. The views are so lovely with trees all around. There is good privacy without neighbors being able to view into the space. There are some beautiful trails close to the property and I appreciate having access and getting into nature without all of the traffic of other trails. Katie is very friendly and responsive to all needs. I look forward to returning as often as possible. This rental is worth every penny for an unforgettable stay!

Faerie House gave us what we needed for a long weekend away hosting many of our friends and family. It was truly beautiful and full of thoughtful, magical details. The multilevel deck was what originally drew us to it and it did not disappoint. This home was perfect for entertaining and connecting with our group. The sauna was also a huge hit! Gorgeous space for our retreat in the woods. Would highly recommend.

Kate was an amazing partner and has built a gorgeous cabin that was exactly what we were hoping for for our wedding. The pictures on her website speak for themselves, but what we particularly loved were that there were plenty of different spaces for different aspects of the wedding. We held the ceremony on the back patio with the forest in the background and our family surrounding us (with live music coming from the upstairs bedroom patio), a reception indoors, a late night musical jam session on another side patio, and even a family talent show and our first dance in the front amphitheater area. There were easily accessible separate prep areas for the bride and groom with full length mirrors (with more room for the bride, of course). And the kitchen and outdoor barbecue were well sized for food and drink prep. Each of the bedrooms have a lot of character, so guests will have a smile on their face when they pick a room. The dance pole downstairs is good for a laugh (it spins much faster than you'd think!). And the sauna and outdoor jacuzzi each make for a nice relaxation space. Most of all, Kate was a tremendous partner throughout. She communicated quickly and was very friendly and gracious. No regrets about picking this space! -P&L

The pictures do not do this place justice. I doubt any pictures ever could. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You really feel like you're stepping into a new, private world, like something out of your favorite novel. We will be coming back.
