Hayesville, North Carolina
The Hepp’s Hideaway is a two bedroom, one bath cabin nestled in the Shooting Creek Community surrounded by the Blue Ridge mountains in Hayesville, NC. Great for couples or small families. Spend your time rocking on the front porch or enjoy the various outdoor activities that Hayesville, NC and the surrounding areas have to offer. The cabin is near Lake Chatuge which has swimming, boating, and fishing. The Jack Rabbit Trails has several trails for hiking, trail running, and mountain biking. Also explore the various waterfalls in the area. The cabin is a short distance to Hiawassee, GA, Murphy, NC, and Franklin, NC, which is a scenic drive through the Nantahala National Forest. The cabin is surrounded by numerous trees with a Mountain View beyond the trees. We have deer in the area and we are surrounded by public hunting land. The road in front of the cabin is gravel (not steep) but an easy drive up the mountain approximately 30 yards from the beginning of the road and into the carport.
This cabin was very clean and beautifully kept. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get away into the mountains.
This property was quiet, quaint, clean, comfortable and very cute!
Nice cozy home in the mountains. Enjoyed the front porch and listening to nature.
Spent the week there with my two friends. Had a wonderful time. Property was amazing, clean, and comfortable. Will absolutely book again!
Came for music festival. Great place. Will stay again!!
Peaceful and quiet place to get away. The cabin was very nice and we loved the screened front porch.
Best two nights of sleep I have had in a long time. Please tell me the brand of the mattress on the king size bed. Also, whether it was hard, soft or medium. Only area I thought could use some improvement is the areas around the house. All the plants were dead, some pretty flowers would have been nice. Also a lot of dead bugs on the front porch. Thanks for sharing you place with us.
LOVED this cabin. Super clean. Had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Brought our family as a starting Kindergarten trip for our grand daughter. Enjoyed hiking at Jackrabbit Mountain and the proximity to Lake Chatuge was great. Would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get away for a relaxing stay.
Loved the cabin and its location, easy access to towns, seen many deer mornings and evenings, very quiet location, would rent this cabin again, you will not be dissatified!
I would stay here again. It was nice and quiet.
This property worked well for our group of 3 mountain biking friends.
Had a great stay
We had been looking for a place too celebrate the holiday in the mountains. We were delighted to find this perfect spot for our holiday weekend. We will definitely return very soon !
The cabin was very clean and cozy! Totally set up for any needs. Full kitchen, plenty of linens and blankets.. couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you!
Nice, clean cabin in a quiet area. Peaceful spot, would stay here again.
The cabin was very nice and clean. They were very accommodating on extra things like snacks and coffee. This cabin was supplied generously for our needs. We enjoyed a nice camp fire with the family. But be aware of the Karen up the hill to approach you and tell you how irresponsible it is to have a camp fire in the fire pit. But all and all, we had a great time at this place. The Hepp's are great people.
The cabin was stocked with everything you need to just get away and relax. It really was amazing!! I will definitely book again
This home is great for small family or group looking for a quiet, peaceful get away. It is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Nice screened porch across the front of the house. Wooded and secluded, yet only 15 minutes away from town. Everything is as described on the listing, and the owners are quick to respond to messages. We (3 adults) had a good experience here and would recommend.
This was one of the cleanest properties we’ve ever booked! It’s an adorable cabin in the woods. It’s got character and charm - with a high-end kitchen. We didn’t expect granite countertops and a stainless steel fridge/microwave in a cabin. Everything you need is there. Snacks were provided, basic cooking needs, a washer/dryer … even chairs for the well-kept fire pit. There was even an awesome book selection for reading on the front porch each morning. It was so peaceful sitting in the rocking chairs, sipping coffee and listening to the sounds of nature. There is even a rooster we could hear in the distance. It was perfect! The location was great for our family reunion events in Hiawassee. I would highly recommend this adorable cabin for anyone! My only recommendation is arrive while it’s still light out. It was a bit hard to navigate in the very dark when first arriving - but once you learn the lay of the land, it’s a piece of cake!
