Escape to an Extraordinary Log Home, amazing views, hot tub, secluded, tranquil

Absolutely gorgeous house and setting! House has all the amenities you could need on vacation. One of the few house rentals we have had that stand up to the pictures in the listing. Ample amenities from the kitchen to the bathrooms and entertainment. Clearly Maureen has thought about what makes for an enjoyable and comfortable home away from home. Plus you can’t beat the beauty of the area. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Maureen is great. Communication is excellent. The home is amazing. Pictures online get you excited...but it is more grand in person. It is the best home we have ever stayed in. The home, the kitchen, the living areas, the porch...the views, all of it. We love this place.

Buena Vista and Salida are now at the top of my list for Colorado destinations. Nothing like it, and this house helps you maximize all of it. Just outside the downtown Buena Vista town (4 minutes), this house is nestled at the base of the massive mountains in the background. The property is incredible and unique. The crush-and-run driveway is opulent and provides a high-end welcome. The gameroom provided our family not only two spirited game nights, but a surround-sound viewing experience to watch the latest episode of our favorite TV show, Survivor. The bedrooms were nice, the kitchen well-stocked with a high-end cooking surface (pancakes and griddle also there). The master was amazing and spacious (the entire upstairs floor). Wash/Dryer there, too, to wash clothes after outdoor excursions. The star of the show, though, was the hottub and the absolutely stunning starry skies unpolluted by city lights. In fact, I thought 9pm skies were beautiful, but one clear morning, I went out at 5am and could not believe the brightness of the stars. Amazing experience. The garage entry is really nice, too, for those colder mornings/evenings. Our Ford Expedition Max fit perfectly in there. This is a home I absolutely will revisit. Has the amenities and location anyone wanting to visit Buena Vista, Nathrop o Salida need.

This was the perfect place for our family. This was a family gathering for a wedding at the nearby Barn at Sunset Ranch.

Stunning cabin atmosphere in this luxury home. Perfect for bringing our adult children together. outdoor space at deck is especially nice. Easy access to town and other adventures nearby.

Beautiful house and anything and everything you would need or want with a great view.

This property is very clean, updated, and spacious. The main floor is a perfect place to hang out. You have the kitchen, deck, grill, hot tub, and hearth room all on that floor. Then you have a fun game room in the basement, and an elite master bedroom upstairs. There are hiking trails all over the 4 acre property, a spot for a camper with a 30 amp socket, a garage, and tons of outdoor parking. We loved it! We'll be back.

This property exceeded our expectations and had every amenity that we required. Including a clothes steamer (lol) as we were headed to a wedding, and we needed to use one - couldn’t believe our luck. The owner is very prompt about communicating. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

We absolutely love the Inn Between! It is our favorite place to stay with our extended family. The owners are super nice & responsive! The place is beautiful and secluded but close to everything needed. We absolutely love everything about the house… views, hot tub, rooms, star gazing. They even have information & brochures for everything you could possibly want to do.

Wonderful setting and well equipped home!

We had a fabulous stay, Maureen was so attentive and we so appreciated her concern with the nearby fire and keeping us updated. The house is amazing, it had everything we needed plus allot of extras to make our stay with our grandkids extra special. We cannot wait to come back next year!

We stayed here with our 4 kids and grandmother, and it was simply wonderful. The property is absolutely perfect, but the host really made it so pleasant. The host communicated early and offered lots of helpful information for our stay, which really helped us plan. The home is very thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, down to details like makeup remover wipes, Kleenex and lotion to help with the dry air. Light switches are labeled so you never have to wonder how to turn on/off lights. There's no AC but with the windows open at night, it was so dark, quiet and cool. The home is convenient to town, but secluded and private. Beds are comfy and linens are quality. Views are amazing and we enjoyed the walk on the property. I honestly don't have any criticism and would definitely stay here again. We have rented many homes and this is by far one of the best experiences.

Super spectacular exprience with awesome suggestion to enjoy BV. Great view of Mt Princeton of which 53 years ago had to turn back from hiking to the summit due to hail and lightning..

The house was better than we expected. Great basecamp for all the fun we had in the valley. The hosts were great to work with, too. We will be back!

This magnificent house is conveniently close to BV but sits on beautiful property with privacy, frequent visits of wildlife and stunning views of Mt Princeton.

We had such a fun time at the cabin, it’s huge and cozy. Very clean and stocked with everything you might need. Very thoughtful for the owners to put out a pack n play, baby blankets and diaper pail for us. Perfect Mountain View’s and close to town. We could stay forever!

Definitely look forward to going again. It is everything that it is advertised and more!

This cabin was the perfect place for our family girls trip! Location was beautiful and serene with breathtaking views of the mountains. The cabin itself was comfortable, cozy and very spacious. It was also very convenient to go into town or to the hot springs. Maureen was a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. We will be back!

Everything was provided that was needed for our stay. The teenagers had private rooms. The littles enjoyed the bunk beds close to their mom. The grandparents were upstairs in the master suite. Enjoyed the hot tub and trails to explore. It was a perfect place for our family of eight to stay and close to skiing at Monarch Mountain

This home is absolutely stunning! It is nestled in among evergreen trees for a private getaway with friends and/or family.The owners have thought of everything: the kitchen is well equipped; the bedrooms and baths have all the necessities you may have forgotten; the furnishings are modern and comfortable; there is a game/theatre room in the basement; a hot tub on the deck; very nice walking trail around the property; laundry facilities; and even a charging station in the garage for EVs.The owners are quick to respond and extremely helpful with ideas and information of the beautiful Buena Vista, CO area. We absolutely loved our stay at this fabulous property and look forward to staying there again.

Our party of eight adults had a wonderful stay at this amazing log home. The home was very well equipped and extremely comfortable. Communications with the host were outstanding as well as check-in and check-out. The four bedrooms worked out very well for us but we thought the home would be great for a large family and friends. The views from the home were incredible. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill and patio. The location was great and we enjoyed the 1/2 mile walk around the 5 acre property. We would all highly recommend the property for any stay!

This is THE house you dream of when thinking of booking a weekend mountains in a cabin, but upgraded. Quintessential log cabin feel, but big enough for a girl's weekend trip. The hot tub, the primary bath, the entire place is amazing. We had five moms on a weekend away without the kiddos and it was such a great spot. We will definitely be back. Extra shout out for the details - Aveeno, makeup towels, a well stocked kitchen. 10/10

first off the house has everything! I mean everything. from coffee grinder to waffle makes to pack and plays to a stroller...we did not need any kids stuff, but just mentioning it, to books movies games and a ton of spices to cook with. As I said it has it all! Plus the views are amazing and watching the deer come thru was wonderful too! I cant say enough good things about this large house/cabin! enjoy!

We stayed with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Maureen was very communicative and helpful, working with us to avoid some bad weather and staying in touch throughout our stay. The home is bigger than it appears in pictures, and very comfortable. Our group of 9 fit perfectly. It's also perfectly located an easy 10 minute drive from town and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!

It was a peaceful, quiet, gorgeous property. The house is everything it looks like in the pictures and more. It’s so charming and has everything you need for an incredible time away. The owner was fabulous and helped us find a place to eat in town. Loved the hot tub under the stars and then driving only 9 miles for the hot springs. I will book this again!

We absolutely loved our stay in this home. The home met our every need, and we felt very comfortable there. The home is beautiful and well cared for and the views from every angle were just breathtaking. We were fortunate to have a snowfall the night before we checked out and the grandchildren were in heaven building little snow men on the deck area. We are already talking about a return trip next year. Our hosts were most accommodating.

Maureen and Frank were kind enough to allow my husband and I to celebrate our elopement with our immediate family at their beautiful property. Despite the blizzard conditions complicating travel from the Midwest, we had the most perfect wedding day in the mountains! Communication was open and fast from the start and throughout our stay. Check in was fast and easy; we were even able to check in early. The cabin was even more beautiful than pictured, and the views of the mountains were breath taking from every angle. Everything we could have needed was provided for us during our stay. I can’t thank the hosts enough for allowing me to have the most special and memorable wedding day! Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home and property. Spacious, well equipped and private. Perfect view of the surrounding mountains from the large windows and the hot tub! We saw several deer, and enjoyed walking the trail around the property. Short drive into town for dining, restaurants and more!

We were so pleased with our stay. The Cabin exceeded our expectations. Breathtaking views of majestic mountains from both inside and outside (deck& in the hot tub). Large kitchen and living room allowed us to relax-very nice spacious sleeping accommodations.
