NORTH PARK ENTRANCE AT GARDINER. This Yellowstone Cabin Rental Is On Private Acreage Five Miles From The Park's North Gate with the Best Wildlife Watching And Cutthroat Trout Fishing!

Charming cabin built in 2009 with two bedrooms that sleeps 5 located just five minutes from Yellowstone Park's North Entrance on several acres of private property. Perfect for travelers who want easy access to the famous Northern Range and Lamar Valley with its bison, elk, deer, wolves, bears, AND fishing for world-famous Yellowstone cutthroat trout!

This beautiful cabin is unlike all other vacation rental properties in the area. Lying in an extremely private location just above Highway 89 north of Gardiner, Montana, and the Roosevelt Arch, the cabin is easily accessed by a well-maintained, short, 300 yard-long Private Drive.

This setting provides you with total solitude and isolation from any hustle and bustle of the busy roadways leading to/from the park. However, at the same time, when needed, you are just minutes away from restaurants, the market, and shops in Gardiner or a bit further away in Livingston and Bozeman.

Built on a log frame, this cabin has all modern amenities yet has a great amount of rustic appeal including beautiful hardwood floors. It has enormous windows giving you unmatched views of Yellowstone's Electric Peak, Devil's Slide, Dome Mountain, and many other spectacular geological features. Wildlife abound here and deer, elk, pronghorn antelope, bighorn sheep, or bison are seen on the meadows and mountain slopes near the cabin. Often during the spring and fall, they are standing right in the cabin's yard. No-where else in the northern Rockies will you find wildlife this abundant and close in a natural setting.

Horses graze nearby, and the Yellowstone River, home to world-class trout fishing, leaves the park and passes just a few hundred yards below you.

There are many access sites to the Yellowstone River very near to the cabin, one within easy walking distance (that is a very great fishing spot...just ask our boys!).

Being near Gardiner, our cabin is at the home of the Yellowstone Forever, a long-standing educational institute offering numerous courses in the park. The Electric Peak Cabin is a perfect place to stay when visiting and attending these courses.

My husband and I stayed at Electric Peak Cabin Sep 3 - 6 and LOVED it. We spent a week in Yellowstone; 2 nights at Old Faithful Snow Lodge, 2 nights at Xanterra's Lake Lodge and 3 nights at this cabin and I can tell you we enjoyed our stay at Electric Peak Cabin much more than at the places in the park. The cabin is MUCH closer to the northern entrance to Yellowstone than you would think, and it's location is AMAZING. We would spend our days in the park, hiking and exploring different areas, and then would so look forward to coming back to this cabin and sitting on the porch with a glass of wine soaking in the views of Electric Peak and the valley. Every night (and morning) we'd see lots and lots of elk and also antelope. One night we heard the elk bugling, and heard coyotes in the distance as well as an owl. We wished we would have chosen to spend more time here. Oh, and Todd, the owner, is the nicest guy you could ever hope to meet! He took the time to talk with us whenever we'd see him, and answered any and all questions we had. Truly a great guy. We're definitely planning on staying at the cabin next time we come to Yellowstone!

It is such a beautiful location with elk and big horn sheep practically in the back yard! Horses next door! Todd is a great host and available for whatever you might need though we didn’t need a thing. It is 10 min from YNP. It was perfect for us ; 2 young men and their parents. The night sky is awesome because it is beyond the town. We had a perfect view of Devils slide and electric peak of course. It is close enough to town and yet far enough so you feel like you are in the middle of heaven!

The views were amazing. I loved the picture windows in the front. The space was everything we were looking for. Pretty secluded, no signal (wifi available if we wanted) We went in mid march so we had sunshine as well as snow. Note that much of Yellowstone is not accessible from the nearest entrance to this cabin. Todd was great, stopped by on his way out to say hi. We just truly enjoyed this stay all around. We plan to return

The cabin was pretty cozy although a bit too small for our family of five. We were 5 people but only 4 dining chairs . The pots and pans were all either scratched or rusty and we had to buy a new pot in order to cook healthily.Otherwise everything was great and all other amenities were sufficient.

We couldn't have possibly asked for a better cabin to stay in while enjoying our time in Yellowstone National Park. Everything about this cozy cabin was amazing. Immediately we fell in love with the charming porch which had a spectacular view of the mountains. The living area was warm and inviting with beautiful views continuing with phenomenal picture windows. The bedrooms are decent sized and the bathroom had everything we needed. Our host Todd greeted us shortly after arrival to welcome us and let us know he could be reached anytime. We had a special treat.... Meeting the horses in the stables adjacent to the fence. I personally enjoyed the beauty of my time with them as well. Todd went above and beyond as we had car troubles on check out. He made arrangements for his son to come over within minutes to get us up and running but not before he searched and found where we could find a new battery for our vehicle on a Sunday morning! We couldn't say more about what a blessing our stay was not to mention Todd himself! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this wonderful treasure Todd!

Perfect 10 other than the curtains in the guest room were too transparent to sleep (we went to bed early to get to early morning hikes/tours), and the shower nozzle was very wide spraying/difficult to use. Our stay at the cabin was amazing. The cabin is only minutes from Yellowstone, while still giving that secluded, country stay. We enjoyed watching the sunsets and gazing at the stars. Each night at dusk my family and I watched a massive herd of elk come down from the mountains and graze in the hay fields across the river. I can't say enough great things about this cabin, truly. It was our very first trip to Montana and Yellowstone, so I was going in blind. After booking this place, then furthering my Yellowstone research, I was worried I would regret not splitting our stay among the different areas/entrances of the park. At the completion of our trip, I HAD ZERO REGRETS!! The cabin was immaculately clean and had everything we needed (even bear spray and binoculars!). The location was perfect just outside of the cute town of Gardiner; so there wasn't a far drive to the market or food, but enough out of town to get the true Montana feel and some privacy. We love some time and space to ourselves when traveling and this location was great for that. Todd was very easy to communicate with. Other reviews mention not having the best shower experience with the space/size of the shower and we can second that, but not badly enough to deter us from coming back if we are ever able!! It made for some laughter at night listening to our family members struggle in there, haha. Lastly y'all THE VIEWS....THE VIEWS!!! The views from this cabin are breathtaking. There are horses next to the cabin, which add to the vibe. We never once turned on the TV or spent much time inside when we were there because WOW. This was the best vacation we've ever had and this cabin was certainly part of that. recs: Flying Pig White water rafting (overnight trip yes!), Hells a Roarin' Horseback Riding, Yellowstone Hot springs.

The cabin was cute and in a good location. It could use some improvements such as replacing the broken trash can, more kitchen necessities and more comfortable living room furniture. We found it to be a little too small for four adults; however we were basically there just to sleep. The shower is also very small and I’m only 5’ tall. That said, the views were beautiful, it’s close to town and lots of wildlife.

This was the perfect basecamp for our Yellowstone family adventure. The cabin had everything we needed to maximize our time together. We could tell there is a lot of pride taken in how it is maintained, with lots of details to make us feel comfortable and at home. Cleanilness is A. Views are A - Electric Peak is out the enormous front window (we got a short lightening show in the distance - so cool), elk walked right into the front yard, and an osprey hung out on a nearby roost. It is close to many adventures - horseback riding, white water rafting, and Yellowstone itself. We had the best time and would stay again 100%.

The Electric Peak Cabin is the perfect get away! It was close to Yellowstone but far enough away from the park that it was relaxing. Todd, the owner, was fabulous and great to talk with. He was responsive to messages. While the cabin is near other houses and vacation rentals, its location makes it feel deceptively isolated. Herds of elk we’re passing by when we were there. For being neighbors to a horse ranch you cannot smell them which I think some people would be happy to know! We got to enjoy the view of beautiful sunsets and watch elk as they grazed on the grasses of the property. The bedding could use a little bit of an upgrade but overall the bedrooms were cozy and allowed us to get a good night’s rest! I would rebook this place 100 times.over. We had only one full day in Yellowstone and because of its location we could do everything we wanted to

The cabin is perfectly located for Yellowstone North entrance. Spectacular views surround the cabin in all directions. Todd was an excellent host. He was always available to answer questions and give suggestions. Our first time visiting Montana and we plan to return and rebook at the Electric Peak Cabin.

Close to north YS entrance and services. Saw elk grazing in the morning. Enjoyed the hot springs down the road.

Perfect location! Beautiful views and elk all around most days. Great location for quickly heading into Yellowstone every day. cabin had bear spray, sleeping bags, coolers, etc. Beds were comfy and sheets were so soft! Do wish there had been a few fans for having on to sleep better at night, airflow and noise. Todd, the host, was very helpful with great fishing tips! Already thinking of planning our next trip out!

Todd was a WONDERFUL host! The cabin was clean and the views and proximity to town and park were perfect! Loved sitting on the porch and feeding the horses, enjoyed great meals from local restaurants, and had an amazing time with our adult kids. Thank you Todd!
