Eagle's Nest Retreat: Just Minutes from Downtown Boone

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The attention to the details was appreciated!

Michael was extremely helpful - cabin is beautiful, has everything you could possibly need. Bedrooms were very comfortable and property is close to town but still in nature.

The communication and check in was excellent! The property was clean and stocked with necessities (laundry, kitchen and bathrooms). We especially enjoyed the fireplace for cozy evenings and the living area accommodated our party of 6 and family that joined us for game night. Be aware of the steep driveway as described in the listing!

Everything was perfect! We had a great time at Eagle's Nest. The open living area was large enough for our whole group (6 people) to sit comfortably. Plenty of space for more people. The view was amazing! We also enjoyed sitting on the deck with the fireplace. The host was very nice and the check-in/out was so easy. Don't pass this up. If you need a place near Boone, this is it.

Absolutely beautiful cabin and great location in Boone. We did have a couple of hiccups, but the host was incredibly responsive and addressed the issues. Very satisfied with the overall stay.

Absolutely awesome retreat. Boone welcomed us to the area with a wonderful blanket of snow upon arrival. Gas fireplaces offered a memorable mountain stay and the beautiful cabin gave us peace of mind to settle in and get plenty of rest. Amenities were spectacular, the house was perfectly clean and well furnished and the atmosphere was very calming and relaxing. The host welcomed us upon arrival and responded very promptly when we had to abruptly leave early the eve of our last night. We could not have asked for a better place or easier access. We felt as if we were deep in the mountains while being only a very short drive to hwy 105. Pleased? Absolutely.

We loved our stay! Eagle's Nest Retreat is in a super location, so easy to get to the places we were visiting. The interior was neat and clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and met all our needs. However, we did have a little difficulty using the can opener. An electric opener would have been handy! The hightlight of the cabin is the porch with the fireplace! So cozy and comfortable, such a fun spot to end our day! Hope to visit again!

Love this place! It was so close to App State and downtown Boone making it perfect to visit our child for parents weekend. My favorite part was enjoying my Starbucks in front of the fire outside on the patio!!! Definitely recommend.

Very clean and the host was very responsive. Close to downtown Boone. Easy to get on the highway to spend some time in Blowing Rock as well.

This house was perfect for my family with my two infant sons. Everything was clean and a lot of small touches that made our stay great. It’s close to town and easy to find. We look forward to staying again.

Very nice house to stay at in Boone. Clean and comfortable. Maker sure and use the 2nd turn in to the house (shorter and not as steep!)

Great set up for a large family. Kitchen was nicely stocked on kitchen items. Bathrooms were also stocked and clean. Beautiful porch. Host was easy to work with and answered all questions.

We enjoyed everything about this house. Very clean and up to date. It had everything we needed and more! We really enjoyed the outdoor fireplace on the covered deck. Close to town but far enough out to be in some woods as well. Great host! We’ll definitely be back there next time we’re in Boone!

Very cozy, easily accessible and the fireplace was perfect!

We came to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Appalachian State University. This cabin was situated close to campus and was lovely. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor has fireplaces. We had a great stay!

Eagles Nest Retreat was a very inviting home. Our family enjoyed selecting a Christmas tree from a nearby farm with the luxury of coming back to a clean and well kept home.

was there over Thanksgiving. I appreciated how well appointed the kitchen was, offering more than just the basics. Cozy yet spacious.

We had a great time. Only spots for two cars, but there is an overflow lot close by, up the hill. Beds were comfy. Full amenities.

The Nest had all the comforts of home!!!! The remote fireplaces were great and the porch was so inviting. The communication with the owner was great. Will definitely stay again at this property if we are in the Boone area again!!!!

Wonder place, really close to Boone. Will stay again. Driveway is a bit tricky to navigate at night as stated.

This cabin was amazing!! It had plenty of room, amazing patio and our family loved it and we'll definitely be back!! I'd recommend it to any of my family and friends.

I rented this property mid-week for a conference at ASU. I was originally going to take my family of four but only took one colleague instead. It was a very convenient drive to ASU. Great location that feels remote but is in a neighborhood right off a main road. The hosts were excellent and very quick to respond. We drove in late on Monday night and they went ahead and turned the lights on for us. I also had some confusion getting to the right address (because I entered the wrong street number in my gps) and they responded insanely fast with a phone call to help. The space was really lovely and more than enough for us. I wish I had more time to bird watch on the porch! It had a really cool fireplace with a remote. Too bad the weather was already perfect! Beds were comfortable and they provided plenty of towels and washcloths, which is kind of a rare gift. The only thing that could possibly have been a problem was the shared wall in one of the bedrooms. The second night, I could hear people talking around 9:00 pm, so I decided to switch rooms just as a precaution. (I actually forgot to take off the sheets in the first room for checkout the next day, and Michael was completely understanding and had my back.) I don’t know that it would have been a problem, but I thought it would be worth mentioning.

Very nice property. Great convenient location. First trip to Boone but certainly not our last.
