Dog-friendly mountain view cabin with a washer/dryer, BBQ, & full kitchen

The cabin was ideal and very thoughtfully planned out. A hook in the bathroom would be nice however for a towel or robe etc. We also enjoyed the friendly wildlife.

Cabin was clean. Comfortable beds. Would stay again.

Very well appointed, cozy and the decor was wonderful. We had trouble with the lock. Couldn't lock it when we left the cabin, even with the deadbolt key, it didn't work.

We had a fantastic stay at Rost place with our family of 4 for our trip to the black hills. We loved the cabin and the space worked well. The beds were comfy. The location convenient to both Sturgis and Deadwood. It IS on a gravel road and there are neighbors (it looks somewhat isolated in the pics and it is not). The neighbors are close by and the one down the hill right in front of the property was noisy. During our stay, which was during the week, they were doing construction somewhere behind the cabin and a big dump truck went up and down the road right by the house starting early and woke us up two of the 3 days we stayed. As for the house itself everthing was great BUT the shower head is AWFUL. It's the one that all public bathrooms and girl scout camps have that is round and comes out a hard mist but not really a shower. This is terrible if you have long thick hair and try to wash it!!! However the other amenties of the cabin more than made up for those inconveniences. The view in the morning from the porch was fantastic. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook normal meals. And a perk....it's close enough to Sturgis downtown that it's in the delivery area for a major retailer so I was able to have the supplies I needed delivered instead of going shopping!!!

The house was as described and met our expectations. The view from the front porch is beautiful and just perfect for a quiet visit with good people and a glass of wine. The neighborhood where it is located is quiet and peaceful. We would rent again if we have the opportunity to travel back this way. Thanks for a wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was the perfect size for us, and we loved being able to take our pup along! The location is great and the neighborhood is really quiet. This was one of the cleanest VRBOs we’ve stayed in. The beds were very comfortable and the house is decorated beautifully. We would love to stay again sometime! Our only complaints were the squeaky bathroom door and the igniter on the grill that didn’t work, but those didn’t affect how much we enjoyed our time at this cabin!

Quiet cabin for relaxing getaway. Clean, simple, nice cabin - and the deer walk through daily. Great place for yourself or a small group/family.

All though we ventured out daily for a new adventure, our stay was very peaceful and quiet. And we did have the chance to enjoy the occasional visit from wildlife like deer and turkey.

Great property. Cozy and had most of the necessities we needed! Very unique home with a very neat hunting cabin style! Close ro town and easy access! Would definitely recommend staying here!!
