Dog-friendly Cabin+Hot Tub+35min to Breckenridge

What a beautiful home in a quiet woodsy setting! It is updated, clean and very comfortable. We loved sitting by the gas firepit and hanging in the hot tub after a long hike. It is close to some great hiking and off road areas. We were also lucky to be visited by a moose couple...not to mention about 6 other moose in the surrounding area. Brooke was a great host! This area is so nice and uncrowded but just as beautiful as the more popular fall destinations! We definitely hope to come back to this house!

We loved everything about it. The attention to details for guests, like robes and clean towels specifically for the hot tub in each room, and separate towels for the shower and bath really made an already great space feel special. The Internet speed was great. We had simultaneous work meetings from different rooms with no trouble. The multiple bathrooms and multiple rooms make this a great place for families or groups since the layout puts some nice space between all the rooms for some privacy. The kitchen is well provisioned, the hot tub, grill and gas fire pit are all well maintained and ready for use, and we enjoyed playing a few records at night while we had a nice dinner. This is now on our list of places to return to, it was just what we were looking for!

Perfectly designed and outfitted. Very Cozy. Relaxed in the Hot Tub Twice. Cooked two dinners and had every kitchen item needed, including a gas BBQ.

Had a great time. The place is exactly as presented, beautiful and well cared for. Had a great time on a mini-retreat.

Our host Brooke was very welcoming. This house was so cozy and Brooke has put so much thought into the decorations! It is pretty close to town and we even drove to Breckenridge for dinner. Amazing stay would recommend 100%

My girlfriend and I chose the Woody Creek Den as our final destination after jet setting around the country. Our goal was to have a comfortable relaxing space that took us off the beaten path, but kept us close enough to activities so we could be flexible with our leisure time. Well that is what I told my girlfriend. The real story was I was setting up my ultimate plan to propose to her. The location matched all of the requirements I set out above, but more importantly it was the perfect jump off for what happened to be a very special day for my me and my Fiancée. I love the location, space, and engagement. I would gladly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to get a way to.

This is a late review from our December stay..... My family and I had such a wonderful and amazing stay. The house was so beautiful, the scenery was amazing, and everything there at the house was so clean. A perfect getaway for my family and I. The beds were so comfortable, and the hot tub outside on a could day felt amazing! Cuddling by the fireplace at night, watching a movie with our kids on the couch, to cooking together with my family in the kitchen, were memories that were created and will last a lifetime. Thank you so very much for allowing us to stay at your house.

This is a wonderful property and great for a family mountain getaway. Quiet property just outside of Fairplay, easy access to hiking, fishing and restaurants. Every detail was covered with accessories to borrow for day trips, dog beds, light up dog collars, board games, etc.. Perfect as a home base for daily get-aways or as a place to relax with a book by the fire pit or a soak in the hot tub.

Modern, new, tasteful. Hot tub was TREMENDOUS! Deer and elk wandered through the yard and the star gazing was awe inspiring. The wind moving through the trees was the only sound during the afternoons - very peaceful and relaxing. Couldn't have had a better time!
