Wonderful cabin. Open floor plan Stain on couch in living room was unappealing. Loved the wood burning stove. Spacious front deck!! Beautiful location.
I liked The view and the convinient placment
Great place to visit. Pond stream so close and fun
This property was a great getaway from the city life. The hot tub next to the river was perfect in the evening. The check-in process was delayed even after trying to check in early. This cabin does not provide items such as coffee, spices, etc. The mattress and bedding are very dated and used. It was an overall Great location!
Not the fanciest place, but great location!! Perfect for a day on the slopes.
We travel to wolf creek every year with the kids and this was one of the best places we’ve stayed and will likely book again next time we visit! Location is great and the home had the perfect amount of space and amenities for us and our 3 kids. I would recommend it!
We stay at this same cabin every year! We love the stay but over the 8 years of staying here the house has declined. The sheets were very old and peeling, and this time we were very disappointed with the hot tub condition. It was green, had dirt standing in the bottom and was very gross. The check in and check out process were very easy and the snow was so fun!
Loved the house and closeness to ski area. But powder lovers beware! While the nearby cabins managed by another company started plowing around 6am and were finished by around 7am, a common time for any ski resort community, the Vacasa / Alpine Accents cabin road and driveways weren't cleared from a large overnight dump until after 9am. We stayed here purely because of the location, which is prominently marketed in the listing as this cabin is one of the closest lodging options to the slopes. That part is technicaly true, but the second statement of you will never miss a fresh powder day in winter only applies if you are willing to manually shovel your way out of the driveway and entry road into the complex as my son and I did while other vacationers got their vehicles stuck in on the road and not only missed first tracks but backed up several others behind them. Was also suprised by no fire starting equipment since no amount of wood is of much use without a lighter and kindling or firestarting aid. This certainly would have come in handy when we lost heat due to a snowstorm knocking down a power line.
Upon arriving in the cabin, we were greeted by several black spiders - one of which was in the refrigerator...alive. Now, if the home had been properly cleaned prior to our arrival, these spiders would have easily been found and removed, but this was not the case, as the home was definitely not clean. The dishwasher had dishes in it, there was junk all over the floors and the worst of everything...the pull-out sofa bed was disgustingly dirty and stained. This cabin had broken and missing blinds throughout the place (don't get undressed at night with the lights on in the bathrooms, loft or living room). The front screen door was completely busted out and slams VERY quickly shut behind you. The beds in the loft are pretty much just box springs - even our child wouldn't sleep on them - hence the sofa bed fiasco. Everything is extremely dated. The bedding in the downstairs bedrooms is from the 80's and the sheets might as well be made of burlap (the pictures don't remotely reflect the bedding, blinds, or washer/dryer we had during our stay). There was only one wine glass, two normal sized cereal bowls, etc. For a home that's supposed to easily accommodate 6-8 people, this was a little surprising. All of the door shelving in the refrigerator is missing so be sure to keep a cooler with ice if you plan on cooking and keeping a bit of food cold. There is also no tupperware or baggies, plastic wrap, foil, etc. to put leftovers in so be sure to bring your own. Same goes for any spices, condiments, supplies, etc. besides maybe salt and pepper. The windows haven't been cleaned in ages. The best (and probably only good part to the stay) was being steps from the river. All in all, we will not stay here again and would definitely not recommend the place to anyone at the price currently being asked. We have stayed at several VRBOs for a lot less money that offer MUCH better accommodations and are also right on the river.
The best thing about this property is the location. The beds were comfortable but one bed had dog hair on it. An extra blanket the we used for the sleep sofa was full of dog hair. The washer/dryer was one machine that held about three bath towels. It wouldn’t keep up with our towels let alone the laundry for 8 people. The kitchen utensils, cookware, and towels were very limited. The refrigerator doesn’t have shelves in the door so putting the condiments on the shelves left little room for food. The screen door is shoddy and needs replaced. These are the simple things that would make the property much more enjoyable. We love the area but will look for a better place to stay next time.
The only thing was the washer/dryer. Just took forever for the cloths to dry. But outside of that, everything else was great
We loved staying here, however there was 0 wood in the house or at the wood shed, ventured out and cut our own wood which turned into a fun day. Would definitely suggest there be firewood for people who don’t have the means to cut their own. All in all was a GREAT short stay. Hot tub, full moon made up for any inconvenience. ❤️
Nice cabin, perfect location. Needs spoons and ladle for the kitchen. There is a tare in the living room rug that needs to be fixed.
Really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub next to the river.
