Stayed Nov 26, 2025The view from this house is amazing, the layout of the house is great (top floor bedroom/bath, main floor bedroom/bath, downstairs bedroom/bath/extra living space). I do wish the main floor living room how more comfortable seating, maybe an oversized armchair or recliner to accompany the couch? The dining area could use additional seating as well (it only seats 4) and the house holds more than 4. It's quiet, it's clean, it's above the clouds!

Stayed Aug 1, 2025Had to buy bath soap. Matresses need to be replaced-sunk in and very uncomfortable. Smoke alarm downstairs chirped and needs replacing.

Stayed Jun 19, 2024Full disclosure, this is a very nice property however it’s main selling point and the reason that we booked this house (it’s view), is mostly obscured by trees when seated on various areas of the main deck. I generally will only post negative reviews on a property for things that had I seen others commenting about, would have constituted a deal breaker for myself. In all fairness, there IS one narrow location on the deck where you can see the beautiful view, however others seated outside of that area and those seated in the living room will have obstructed views. Hopefully, if it’s allowed, the owner can trim the trees back and restore that beautiful view. If the view is not your main reason for staying at a property, by all means give this one a shot. It’s well maintained, clean, well appointed, and in a great location.

Stayed Oct 13, 2023Loved this property for a weekend getaway. Bedroom and bathroom on each floor, the wrap around deck has awesome long range views, enjoyed the fireplace. We stayed here for the weekend with my parents and never even turned on the TV. Convenient to the downtown area.

Stayed Oct 6, 2022Looking at a distance everything looks great. However, it is the small details that make a difference. The kitchen dishes are scarred or cracked, dish towels need to be replaced because of the sour odor that remains after washing, there are no deep pots for cooking only frying pans and woks. There is no chest in the master to store clothes. The floors were not swept well, especially in front of the laundry room, white particles all over the carpet. No end tables to rest a cup on or book on. For the amount of money we paid, we expected more. The positive thing I have to say is the view.

Stayed Nov 19, 2021This cabin was exactly what we were hoping it to be. The view from this cabin was so breathtaking that we didn’t want to leave. I usually don’t like staying anywhere but our camper because of the experiences we have had with cleanliness, but this place was spotless and we will most definitely be back for sure. Our Christmas Tree hunt was a success thanks to C and J Christmas Tree farm.

Stayed Oct 20, 2021Cabin was in a great area with an incredible view! Great amenities including very comfortable beds! Lots of deer were in the area. Super comfortable sofa. We loved our stay.
