Well, let me start by saying that I rented the place for 2 nights. I work up at 5am the first night to no power in the house. It was 36 degrees outside and 63 degrees in the house. I message the property agent, and they said they would investigate it. I never hear back from them, so I followed up at 9:30am. The home was very cool, and the propane fireplace did not work. I could not have coffee, cook breakfast, take a shower, flush toilets, etc. I told them that if the power was not back on at 10am I would be packing up and leaving and I wanted a refund for the 2nd night. They said, I think the power will be on at 10:30. The power was not on at 10:30 so I packed up and left and sent them a text at 11am when everything was locked up. They responded that since this was not their fault it was outside of their policy to offer a refund. Let me ask any halfway intelligent breathing human, was it more my fault or the owners/property managers fault that their property was not as advertised. I paid for a property with power, a working fridge, a working TV, working WIFI, able to cook meals, use the hot tub, take showers, flush toilets, and turn on lights. The king bed sags bad, so I had to move to a smaller room because my back was killing me. I think the mattress was 20yrs old. Also, the hot tub is just warm and the WIFI is super slow. For anyone who thinks, no way a professional would that terrible, the text chain is attached. Property owner, you should fire this representative.......

Beautiful, large, wood cabin with very impressive windows and a lovely deck. We really enjoyed our stay despite having a connectivity outage for a couple of days. The only caution is the elevation is over 11,000 ft so it is quite the change for people like us coming from sea level (Florida).

My family and I stayed at the cabin for a little quiet time. It was nice. Some of the doors/locks are a little finicky and you have to get used to it. The 2 main doors to the deck werent allowed to be opened for some reason so this made it a little awkward getting in and out. The hot tub was a hit with the kids and was very nice. Would stay again if we ever decide on Fairplay as our vacation spot. The owners were very quick in their responses and the check-in process was seemless. Rating would be 4.5/5 if VRBO allowed.

We stayed here the last week or so in June 2025. We had six adults in our group. Beautiful cabin about 12 minutes outside Fairplay. Cabin was very clean and very comfortable. Wrap around deck was amazing and allowed us to follow the sun from morning until sunset. The Hot tub was amazing and very clean. The only slightly negative observation was the tiny little bathroom upstairs in the loft...which is set up to be the Master suite. Not a big deal. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The grocery store in Fairplay was surprisingly well stocked and had everything we needed for our week. We bought some drinking water - but the well water at the house was just fine and bottled water is not really necessary. The gravel road getting up to the property has some rough spots...but that's to be expected if you're choosing a quiet place away from town. We would definitely recommend this beautiful cabin.

The house is beautiful and clean but there is a really bad septic/gas smell in the house especially in the bathrooms. Would not recommend wearing an expensive bathing suit in the hottub either as it bleached out ours. If the smell and the hottub were fixed this place would have been perfect. Unfortunately we probably won’t stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at moose tracks, very nice cabin was very clean when we arrived. A couple of things, the owner should consider getting a new outdoor grill. We were planning on cooking steaks the night we arrived but the grill was completely unusable. Looks like it had not been cleaned in years, no grease trap, interior parts are rusty and falling apart. Not usable! the only other thing, the dishwasher soap was empty. But the cabin is nice, we thank you letting us use it.

Loved the design of this cabin. If I were buying a cabin, this is the set up I would want. Being at higher altitude, the wildlife even in the summer is great. The highlight was the momma moose and her baby right down the street, but there were others. Fairplay is a short drive away. The only disconcerting thing about our stsy was the realization we were being monitored by camera outside. We realize there are problem guests owners have to deal with; but we are not. Overall it was a great time and very enjoyable.

Our family of 10 enjoyed our stay at this beautiful. Cabin and scenery did not disappoint. Kitchen was very well equipped. Furnishing were perfect for cabin. We would suggest an all wheel drive to get up to cabin on a rocky road. If you are troubled with altitude level, this might not be for you. Hiking was great in the area. Saw moose, elk and fox. Took day trips and back in time to fix dinner in, and relax in the salt water hot tub. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a family trip!

Everything was perfect. The home had all the amenities and more. One of the most well stocked VRBOs Iv stayed in. The hot tub was clean and refreshing with a great view. It was a good location for both FairPlay and Breckenridge. We would definitely stay again.
