Stayed Aug 9, 2025A great vacation for our family! Plenty of beds for a larger group; it was nice to have three twins in one room for the kids. Very well stocked kitchen with many thoughtful extras. The waterfront was great for launching our kayaks and for the kids to swim (just wear crocs or water shoes.) We found a good fishing spot nearby (Bergland Dam). It is also a short drive to the Porcupine Mountains and nice beaches in Ontonogan. The lake stayed pretty quiet and we could stargaze and watch a whole family of eagles from the dock.If I had to pick a downside it would be a wish for a fan in the bedrooms downstairs. Though, this lack seems common to many/most vacation houses in the region, and this house had a quality central air-conditioning system, so it wasn't a significant issue.Overall it was a lovely stay in a great area to really feel like you've escaped the daily grind.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025What a beautiful property! The location was excellent. Close enough to local amenities but with the remote feel we were looking for. The cabin was very well stocked, had everything we needed and more. Very relaxing and tranquil setting. Even caught a few fish right off the dock! Can't wait to stay again!
