We booked this property on a last minute whim. Overall, beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with what we needed for the weekend, shower was great. Didn’t love that there wasn’t a couch and the inside walls are made of painted cinder blocks so we didn’t get a real cozy feel. The river access was very crowded with people from our camp site and the neighboring rental properties. There was no section of river where we could post up chairs and be about calf deep without having to cross water that was about 4’ deep.
We had a wonderful stay! Veronica was so nice and got worried about us because we were a day late checking in. Darn work! The cabin was perfect! I love that it had all the things we needed for a 4 day stay! The weather wasn’t on our side but we made a fire and made the best of it. We are already planning our summer trip to really get to enjoy the frio that was litterally 39 steps away! Thanks again!! We highly recommend Frio River Cabins
Family and I booked at the property due to the proximity to the river and it was a great experience! Everything was as listed on the website
Great place to stay. Close to Garner State Park. We have only stayed in the Fall, but the river is beautiful and looks very inviting. A short walk from the cabin.
The Cabin was great not having to deal with putting up tents. It had all the basic i tema you and do not have to worry on taking. Our family had a great time and the river water was cold but we still got in.
This is a nice little cabin, exactly as depicted in the listing. Our heat and a/c went out right before we arrived, and the manager was committed to doing whatever she could to make sure we were comfortable. The cabin is just a short (but steep) walk to the river, which is great. The biggest downside is the traffic noise, but that's how close that part of the river is to the highway! Overall, a great trip and would recommend.
