Cripple Creek Mtn Getaway w/ Panoramic Views

The cabin was nice and the view was great as advertised. The fireplace did not work but the manager did get someone out to fix it for part of our stay. Then we found the washing machine didn’t work so a couple in our group ran out of clean clothes. However, the real problem with our stay may be beyond the owners control. The only other cabin near there is only 30 or 40 yards up the hill and someone staying there had a party with loud music until 8:00 the next morning. We left a day early because we did not want to risk another sleepless night. This cabin is also a rental but I don’t know if it has the same owner.

Easy check in. House was well organized and clean. Check out was simple.

House and location was great. Some maintenance items at house needs attention such as window screens.

We all (3 couples) enjoyed this home as this was our home base. We loved the mornings out on the deck with mountain views and the weather was perfect sitting out having coffee and breakfast. Sat out a couple of evenings but had rained some afternoons which made everything wet. Used the grill a couple of times which was great.(the tanks were low so we did fill one up so it’s ready for the next) We did have a couple of issues some of the lights didn’t work but there are lamps so that was ok. One of the bedrooms didn’t have a screen and that room was pretty stuffy. There was only one floor fan so we did ask for more and they did bring us a couple more fans. The main issue was the dishwasher leaked so we put towels to soak up the water and they were soaked. They said they would get someone to look at it so hopefully that gets resolved before anyone else stays. Also there was a bear in the area. It got into the neighbors garbage two nights that we know of so make sure to not leave anything out. We did see him it was after dark but with the ruckus he was making we went out onto the deck and he did come around into the trees. All in all it was a great stay! We would definitely stay there again if in the area!

Very clean, very beautiful. Bedrooms were comfortable, living area upstairs was great. Beautiful views from the patio and the upstairs living area.Kitchen was well stocked with all types of dishes, cooking items, appliances.We had one issue with a commode but Bruce from the mngt team came out immediately and fixed it promptly. He also checked and made adjustments on the second commode just to be sure. He was super friendly and helpful.We had a great stay!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The cabin is beautiful and the views are spectacular.

We were so pleased with this property. It was more gorgeous than in the pics. The view is stunning…just what we were looking for to see Colorado! Super clean and close to everything, yet secluded . We want to come back already!

We went on a couples getaway for five days looking for some quiet & this was ideal!! Way more room than we needed but the location & views were amazing! Listing/pictures do make it seem like it’s completely isolated - but there is a house behind it that carries sound. But it was a minimal blip as it was behind us and not even in the eye line from the deck. There were a few minor repair needs that were a little bothersome - main sliding screen to the deck was bent and difficult to use (but the other door was functional), a couple of the blinds were broken (one of the four facing the view so it wasn’t completely obstructed), and the jacuzzi didn’t work. But the bed was very comfortable. Lots of space in the bedroom & living area. The town nearby is definitely a small touristy casino town but that in itself is nice as it offers some good restaurants, entertainment, as well as some tours of the local area & mines! All in all it we will be looking to book here again if we are back that way! (Have I mentioned the views were AMAZING?!)

You've gotta love it when a rental property exceeds expectations. All too often, the property doesn't quite match the photos and descriptions. I am part of a TV production crew...filming a show in the area and hopefully this house will be available!

Great cabin, loved the views

We had a great time during our stay. The cabin is spacious and has a great deck with a stunning view! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed this amazing cabin. A short drive from Cripple Creek, Woodland Park, and Divide, the cabin was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Exactly what we wanted!

Stunning view!!! Only 15 minutes to town

The house was spacious and comfortable, easy to access, and had a stunning view. We loved the 2nd floor porch and fire pit. We would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Cripple Creek with the beautiful view off the deck. The house was perfect for our needs. My only complaints were that the main bath shower was tiny, and the bedrooms were a bit stuffy at night. There were no ceiling fans, and the air wasn't circulating much even with the windows open. We would still stay here again!

We stayed 4 nights and loved every minute of it. I will definitely be back.

This cabin was the perfect place for us to enjoy the Mountain View’s and hang out together in a cozy atmosphere!

Our family had a wonderful, relaxing time here. My kids want to come back every year! Mornings and evenings were spent on the deck enjoying the glorious view and we cuddled up around the fire pit to look at stars at night. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, everything was clean. When we weren’t enjoying the cabin, there were a lot of fun things to do and see in the surrounding areas. I’d recommend this property and we may just make coming here a family tradition.
