Cabin was cozy. The kitchen is extremely small. The heater in the basement didn’t work. We had to use space heaters that required extension chords running through the upstairs hallway. The house was dusty and the outside porches were very dirty and the windows were covered in poop..bird I guess? Kitchen and bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed our stay but someone needs to deep clean, I found myself cleaning because all the dust upsets my husband's sinus. Beware of outside tamper proof mouse traps with poison. Our dog is nosy and found them right away. It gave us a scare when we realized she had messed with them. We loved the location..very close to my sisters mountain house. Our adult children enjoyed the nice hot tub. We love Franklin and had a wonderful time.

We rented this cabin to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was easy to find, super clean, and well-equipped, with no pet hair despite it being pet-friendly.We enjoyed the hot tub, which had incredible jets. We used the fire pit two nights and loved the peaceful atmosphere created by the rushing creek. The hot water for showering was ample and hot like we like it. The Wi-Fi was strong; without it we had zero reception. The upstairs bed was comfortable to us - we are picky! If you have mobility issues, this cabin likely isn't for you. We definitely plan to visit Franklin again and want to return to this cabin. The communication with the hosts was good and so was their availability. And finally, the cabin's location is so private! There is another cabin close by, but due to the sloping of the hill you do not even know another cabin is there until you get in your car to leave.:)

Absolutely beautiful property and space! The photos truly don’t do it justice. My mom, my two best friends, and I spent a peaceful autumn weekend here, and it was everything we hoped for and more.Waking up to the sound of the creek just outside was the perfect way to start each day — so calming and grounding. The hot tub was a major highlight — much more spacious than your average 4-person tub, and perfect for soaking under the stars with the crisp fall air around us.The cabin itself was stunning: thoughtfully decorated, clean, and incredibly cozy. We especially loved the two fire features — the indoor fireplace added a warm, inviting atmosphere in the evenings, and the outdoor fire pit was perfect for late-night chats and s’mores under the trees.Every detail of the stay made it feel like a true escape. We’re already talking about coming back!

We came up to escape the brutal Florida heat over the last weekend of July into August. The cabin was lovely, tucked down in a little gulch along Jones Creek (which was running really well due to lots of recent rain). The outdoor space was beautiful, and we took advantage of the fire pit, the hot tub, and used the Traeger grill. Having morning coffee down by the creek was perfection. The inside of the cabin was as advertised, comfortable for 2 adults, a teenager, and service dog. As I’m sure with any older log cabin, it was pretty dusty with hair dust bunnies about when we arrived. Not a big deal as there was a nice vacuum cleaner provided. We also didn’t know we had to provide our own toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent until we got there (there was one roll available in both bathrooms, and half a roll of paper towels on the holder in the kitchen, and less than enough detergent for a small load of clothes). We left plenty for the next guests. You also have to provide your own Traeger pellets if you plan on using that - but you can go to Lowes in Franklin and buy a bag. If you want Firewood, there’s a father-daughter run wood shop on 23/441 called Woodpecker Woodworks that sells however much you need for however much you think is fair (cash only). Super nice folks.Even though it rained the whole time we were there, we enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return.

Overall we enjoyed our time at Creekside cabin. The creek was the highlight with the tranquil sound you can hear from balcony patio and if not to cold and are able to open the windows from the indoor as well. When we arrived had a small issue that was resolved by owner who was very responsive. The drive up is very short from the road and close to town. Although the main floor is small the overall design of the cabin gives ample space for everyone to have their privacy. From the master with loft upstairs to the spacious basement downstairs with big screen TV and section that lends itself to gathering for movie nights with family.

This is our second time at the cabin, and we had a blast! We used the Traeger for nearly every meal, kept a fire going the whole time in the fire pit, went creek stomping, and generally just took in the beauty of the location and the creek. We’ll be back again!

We spent the Labor Day weekend making s’mores by the fire, grilling lots of yummy food and relaxing to the calming sounds of the creek. The cabin was beautiful and quiet. Everyone enjoyed it very much.

Sayed for a week and loved every minute of this cabin. The creek was amazing. My dog absolutely loved the water. Spent alot of time sitting on the covered porch, listening to the water. Used the Traeger grill for almost every meal. Driveway was a little rough, but not too bad. Will definitely return!

The cabin has many antiques on the walls (old sleds, fishing gear, baskets, snow shoes) giving it great 'cabin spice'. It is clean & well appointed. The A/C units were great for the afternoon heat. The sounds of the creek supplied a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. The creek was very clean since we found several salamanders living in it. The bridge over the creek allowed access to a game trail. We saw deer & many birds. The hot tub was very clean - a technician came by to do weekly cleaning. The only problem was the access road. It seems we were caught in a set of unfortunate circumstances: dry weather, loose gravel & previous renters that dug ruts into the road. Our Toyota Highlander (front wheel drive) w/newer rain tires had a difficult time navigating the road. We had to partially unload our vehicle to get up the road when we first arrived. On subsequent trips (which we tried to limit), we had to turn into the drive past the entrance, start in low gear, get a straight running start & hold on to the 'Oh Sh*t' strap to navigate the road. AWD & 4WD shouldn't have a problem w/current road conditions. We were told once there is a heavy rain, the road would be re-graded/repaired. The property managers were very friendly & helpful. They even drove our dogs & some luggage up the drive when we first arrived. Sadly, our son's comment as we left was: Thank God this will be the last time we will have to drive this road! We would love to rent again but would need AWD or 4WD.

Loved listening to the creek, very private, room for everybody. Hot tub was wonderful & it was close enough to town for convenience, but far enough away to enjoy the country roads and no traffic. Our 2 dogs loved it as well. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

The property was absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views with all the lush greens of tall trees. An amazing creek to take full advantage of all the adventures you can create and all within steps from the house. Huge bonus was the hot tub to also enjoy with the creek view. There was so much to do, even when it rained. So much space and privacy. The owner/host had provided everything we could possibly need. Incredible Waterfalls within 20 miles including our must favorite *Dry Falls and *Bust Your Butt Falls !! We'll definitely be back !!
