Well kept cabin with well stocked kitchen. The facility is dated but the comfy beds, large dining, ample pots/pan, utensils, outdoor grill, etc. made our stay pleasant. Managing around just two washrooms with 10 in our party was a bit challenging but manageable.

The cabin was close to everything. Cabin had everything we needed. Really liked the wrap around deck and covered area to park our bikes.

Great accomodations! House was very nice and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very convenient as well. Will definitely be back!

We loved our time at Creekside Hideaway II, it was the perfect set up for us and our 3 children (11, 9, and 2). When we usually visit an area like Maggie Valley, I feel like I need to find fun things to do nearby to fill up the days - but that pressure was relieved this past weekend because the cabin was so nice. We spent much more time at the cabin than we have on past trips, and spent most of our time playing in the stream or on the playground equipment, and enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. Our kids have already made us promise that we’ll try to return to the Creekside Hideaway II sometime soon, and it’s great to know that we can book with such a friendly and responsive host. We’re looking forward to next time!

The hot tub was perfect. It was cleaned before our arrival and as soon as we turned on the jets, the hot water heated up the entire tub immediately. The creek was lovely and was a nice background sound for sleeping. The cabin had everything we needed and our host was great with communication.

The house, location, and view was amazing! My favorite part was the creek, and my kids was for sure the play area! The communication from day one, of booking, was top tier! We will for sure stay again

Very beautiful and the playground and creek was a perfect touch for our combined 5 kids! We enjoyed exploring and building little snowmen and throwing snowballs at each other! Very close to shops and good drives to fun hikes, trails and waterfalls! We even saw three elk down the street! Will definitely be back!!

What a great cozy cabin! My family had a wonderful experience! Property manager was quick to assist one small issue that we had plenty of room for sleeping, the cabin was clean, with a fully stocked kitchen. The kids loved the playground outside and their adults all love the hot tub. The creek running through the back was very peaceful in the fire pit was perfect. We absolutely had a great time while visiting Maggie Valley. Would definitely rent again.

The cabin was homey with a gas fireplace, 2 great king sized beds, bunk beds and plenty of fun things for young kids to do in the yard. The hot tub was ready to use as soon as we arrived. This is our second week we have rented the home. Loved the creek's babbling sound effects along with the firepit.

We were very disappointed with this rental. The pictures are obviously very old. The house needs some updating. The kitchen and bathroom sinks in particular. Also the bathroom sink is so low, you get a back ache when you are brushing your teeth. The dining room table is unique as it is all wood however, the seats are so heavy they are difficult to move. Future renters should be aware that they are only allowed one bag of trash. If you have more, there are instructions to take it to the dump or face a 35.00 fee. I have rented numerous places in North Carolina and have never had to deal with the trash!!! The last thing I want to do on vacation is go to the dump.The backyard (which is the main reason I rented this property) was awful. The playground equipment was nasty and needed a good power washing. I understand it is in the woods but if you are charging good money, at least make an effort to make it clean. I discouraged my grandson from going on it for fear of him catching something.The creek was as pictured and beautiful - Thank You Mother Nature.

House was so nice and had everything we needed. The kids loved the slide and playing in the creek! We would definitely stay here again. Also, super convenient to the town of Maggie valley!

Everything was AWESOME. Check in was easy with no hassle at all. Everything we needed to cook was there already and that made it a lot easier. The kids had a blast and the place was gorgeous. We hated for our little get away to come to an end.

Live the house it was the best stay everything plan in renting again was happy with everything but did need more cleaning under the bed but amazing in all

We had a family reunion with my sisters and their spouses all renting nearby cabins too. Ours was the hit with the little ones (grands). Such a pleasant place. Very, very peaceful. We even saw elk walk down the road one evening. Magnificent!

My family has been staying at this location for many years, it is always clean and very comfortable. My grandchildren like the playground and creek so much we have difficulty convincing them to go on excursions. They all want to stay and live there forever. Leslie is an excellent host and always makes sure we have a contact available if something is needed. To date, we have not needed to contact her as the home is always ready and everything advertised is there and working.

My family of five adults and two children absolutely loves our time here at the hideaway! Leslie welcomed us kindly the beds were extremely comfortable!! The slide from the porch was such an awesome addition my grand daughter absolutely loved it!!! There is a beautiful creek in the backyard you can hear it running from inside if you open the windows there were a lot of amenities but I must mention the hot tub was wonderful as wellThe home was clean and well kept! My family will be back! Thank you Leslie for such a wonderful stay!

Very beautiful home amazing property we loved the creek the hot tub well we just loved everything about it. Very spacious plenty of things for adults and children to do. A great place to go when you really don't want to do anything but relax and enjoy yourself with everything that's just right there

Took my daughter to see snow for the first time and this was the PERFECT place to stay!!

This is our 3rd year going to the same property because we love it so much. Definitely worth it with small or big kids.

We truly enjoyed the outdoor amenities including teeter daughter, slide, swings, fire pit, stream, and jacuzzi. The location was just the right spot... Not too high up the mountain and just high enough to get the mountain vibe. We were able to spread out enough with seven people to get adequate sleep, yet come together for dinner and conversation. I highly recommend this property.

The property was exactly as described in the listing. My boys loved the creek and fire pit. My youngest loved the slide and the play area. The location was convenient to the things we had planned. I wish the cabin had been decorated for Christmas since we have a younger child. We improved by getting a small blow up tree from Walmart.

This is the only vacation home I have been to that had a playground that was very helpful for my grandbabies.

Family getaway, took grandkids to SantaLand and Oconaluftee Visitor Center & Farm, Mingus Grist Mill and ate lots of great food! Wonderful burgers, wings & onion rings at Brickhouse Pizza & Wings and Carvers Maggie Valley restaurant had delicious fried chicken and fried trout. The creek was greatly enjoyed by grandkids as well as all the outdoor playground equipment. We had a wonderful time, house was easy to find and no winding roads to get to house. Time near creek and fire pit were enjoyed by all ages! Note: Old wooden picnic table has bench broken with exposed nails that needs to be removed as a safety concern as well as broken plastic Adirondack chair. There is a nice new picnic table on site. Trash bin in house has loose board that needs repairing since screws are exposed.

7 day stay. I was so excited about this booking. I am sad to have to write this review. This house suffers from wanting to flip it for the next customer as quick as possible without any consideration for what the next renter's experience will be. This property needs to be taken off the rental market to be deep cleaned, fixed up, and powerwashed. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW PEOPLE HAVE GIVEN THIS PROPERTY THE RATINGS THEY HAVE. I can see it was once fantastic 7 years ago from the pics on google maps. The creek cannot be beat. But, it was flanked by a broken, sharp plastic chair & broken picnic table. The property smelled horrible and the air filters which were gross. (Mary did come to change them). The smell didn't go away though. The property wasn't cleaned well at all. It was tidied and admittedly broom swept due to time constraints with 5 properties being managed by 1 manager. Needs a separate cleaning crew to actually get what you're paying for at $300 per night. I'm going to post pics on googlemaps. Pics are worth a thousand words and i cannot write it all here. The kitchen needs to be gutted and updated. We aren't fancy and are fine with old and rustic, not dirty/unsafe. Bunk beds cracked. Took owner days to get back to me each time. Didnt respond to personal emails and finally did w VRBO, so use that only. If you cook/are clean, don't book here Layers of grossness on table/side tables. So sad. Needs to be remedied at owners expense, not renter/property manager's.

Our boys (5 & 7) LOVED our visit here. So many fun activities to do at the cabin and close by in Maggie Valley. Super fun creek with crawdads and salamanders, slide, see saw, fire pit and hot tub. Safe yard and deck. Location was super close to all the fun activities and restaurants in town. We will be back :)
