Creekside cabin

This wonderfully nostalgic log cabin sits on the banks of a babbling creek in the Rockies and while historic in charm, has modern conveniences you might need. Hosts are terrific and accommodating! Can’t wait to return!

The cabin was a great balance between a real and rustic cabin and a place with a bit luxury. It is beautifully decorated and has great amenities such as down comforters, fresh smelling soft linens and a milk frother. While there are other cabins near it, it feels isolated, and is nestled down by a river which is a magical sound to fall asleep by. It’s also located close enough to RMNP and yet far enough away from the chaos of Estes Park. The owners were very responsive, friendly, and addressed a slight issue immediately. I will definitely stay again!

Amazing stay all around! The cabin, the location, the host were all amazing. Definitely a place we want to come back to!

The interior and exterior of the cabin was fine for living during a week; but I have one major concern that will prevent me from returning. If at all possible, cost-wise and otherwise, the water system in the cabin needs to be seriously improved. The bathroom sink gushes water and the kitchen water dribbles and not feasible to adjust even though advised by Amanda in her comments. For perhaps legitimate cost reasons, but still annoying, we were restricted in flushing the toilet after every use. I am grateful for the use of the house but will not return primarily due to these water concerns. I wish Amanda the very best in the future rental of the property and I want these comments to remain private and not posted to the public. I have no desire to negatively impact the future rental of the cabin. God bless everyone involved and God bless Amanda and her husband Ben in every way. Thanks and blessings always.

We had a fantastic experience and really enjoyed our stay.

This cabin was perfect for our family. We were close to RMNP and Estes for exploring during the day. Loved listening to the sounds of the creek. The communication from the hosts was amazing. We would definitely stay again!

Rustic but cozy cabin right by the creek/river! Small, but well equipped kitchen. No dishwasher and very old appliances. We had an issue with the toilet which was quickly resolved. Very good communication with owner.

Our second time staying here and we've been thoroughly impressed each time! All immeneties and comforts that a creek-side, cabin adventurer needs! Rockstar hosts. 10/10. Thanks for sharing it.

Absolutely loved the cabin, it's so cool! Having the river right there is so nice and peaceful. My brother and I came out from MA to check out RMNP. Really good location in terms of distance from the airport and to the park. Loved everything about it! Thanks Amanda for making everything so seemless!

The cabin was a lovely, 1920s rustic with modern comforts. Quiet, restful location next to the soothing white noise of a mountain stream, yet near enough to attractions east (Front Range cities) and west (Rocky Mountain National Park) to be a great home base for our family vacation.
