Very beautiful and cozy cabin

Super cute place for our one night stay! We had a fire and played games and relaxed. It was so calm and would stay again!

There were some things that were not clean.... a pot I took out to cook with that I had to wash first, the previous guests garbage etc. While the cabin looked clean enough these things were off putting. The property is beautiful and quiet and comfortable!

Overall was a great stay , hated to leave . Will definitely be back .

The beauty of winter was surrounding us in this lovely, secluded, peaceful cabin. The space itself, guided my husband and I to merely pause, reflect and enjoy the calm, serene view around us. Very clean and accommodating cabin!

Very comfortable, loved the shower and bed. Very pretty setting, peaceful view. Well worth the 10 minutes drive from the freeway. Highly recommend.

The place was absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful views lots of birds! Everything was very clean and they had everything we needed during our stay. Sad we didn’t get to spend more time there and we will definitely be coming back!

Quiet, cozy stay in this cabin by the water.

We have stayed here several times and every stay has been fantastic!

Beautiful property, great open spaces, comfortable cabin, and many farm animals that my English Setter and I enjoyed getting to meet. Strongly recommended.

This was definitely the most peaceful stay we’ve ever had. The property is beyond beautiful and the cabin is A!! The owners were spectacular and all of the farm animals and dogs were so fun. Great recharge weekend and we will definitely book there again!!! 10/10!!

Overall was a great stay . Our dog lulu enjoyed interacting with the farm animals . As well as the other dogs on the property . Would defintely recommend an upgrade to the king mattress in the main bedroom . Very sore backs throughout the stay . And maybe adding a small loveseat to the first floor , something other than a bunch of random chairs . Was unaware as well that our cell phones could text , but could not call out . So all in all a very nice , clean stay . Just needs a few upgrades such as the mattress in main bedroom and better seating options on the main floor .

The place is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views, sunset especially. The night sky, you can see more stars than you can count. David is fast to respond and althiugh our stay was short is was the perfect respite from our long drive home.

We had a delightful stay in the cabin. The outdoor space is great and the cabin had everything we needed.

It is a beautiful place to relax! The master bedroom needs a new mattress. The animals were no problem with my dogs. The water is super irony, it feels weird on the skin, and smells too. I used bottled water for cooking amd drinking because of it. I would not wash decent clothes in that water either. Owners are great! Ask about how to get into the basement in case there is a tornado warning.

Nice cabin, great location. Look forward to staying there in the future.

We enjoyed our weekend out of the city. The teenagers actually had fun! Outdoor area, games, relaxing. Great weekend overall!

This was perfect for my dog and I to use as our home base for early season birding. Amazing property!

We were here last summer for work and enjoyed it here so much we decided to come back. We will be back this summer if our dayes are available.

Great little cabin with a beautiful view of the prairie and the lake. Cabin had everything you would need for a nice stay. We did bring a FireStick so we could watch streaming tv at nights but otherwise everything you could need was supplied in the cabin. Hosts were great and their two labs are the best!!

Very cozy and clean cabin . Was just a nice little getaway.

Spent time visiting family in the area and relaxing at the cabin. The cabin had all you need. It snowed and was very pretty and cozy. The hosts even had cleaned off the path and steps to the house while we were out. It was so quiet all we would hear is a plane once in a while and even heard some coyotes one evening. Will definitely consider repeat visit.

We recently stayed for an extended 4 night weekend and the accomodations were perfect. The views were stunning and the cabin was so welcoming and cozy. Best part about it was being pet friendly so we could travel with my two labs. Highly recommend. this little retrat.

We booked the cabin for a duck hunting trip. Cabin is excellent and would definitely recommend it for any type of a getaway. Do note that it is out in the country, you won’t be walking to any stores or such places. But if you want peace and quiet, this is it.

4 buddies spent a week in mid October, had a great stay, Owner helped out with hunting advice and even suggested some farmers to contact. Clean place and everything we needed.

Staying at this prairie cabin is precisely why we love staying in VRBOs over hotels or motels--the charm and uniqueness of this small farm property and the quiet of the surrounding location was magical. Thanks to our hostess and her wonderful dog and the goats! We loved the sunrise and the peacefulness of the prairie. Easy and convenient off the main freeway but also with a quiet and away from it all feel. Great value too!
